Chat Filters Issue

Hoping that there is a really easy answer to this, so here it goes:

I am having trouble with my chat filters. No matter what I set as a filter, I cannot stop the log from showing other peoples damage and actions. It creates a wall of spam in my chat log almost everywhere I go. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue or if it is somehow related to using windower, but if anyone knows how to get it to stop please let me know either here or in a PM.

Do you dual box?

I do not. Just one toon at a time.

Are you using battlemod? Battlemod doesn't respect normal chat filters, you have to use its settings.

Battlemod is not loaded

Try making sure all your filters are on and then logging out and saving your data to the server. When that's done, reload your data from the server and log back in. I forgot what the key commands are exactly, though. Let me look them up.

Shift + Alt + Ctrl + B to save, Shift + Alt + Ctrl + A to load.

Do you have your chat logs split up? Try checking the Window 1 and Window 2 settings.

I'm having the same issue but I do have battlemod loaded. How do u set the settings for battle mod?

In Windower\addons\battlemod\data there's a settings.xml file. Edit that and //lua reload battlemod.

Ahh interesting... Although the file makes no sense to me ; ; is there a guide somewhere about going about editing this file?

The filters seems to be in this folder:
windower\addons\battlemod\data\filters

found why its broke, you disgusted it to death.
