According to a July Gallup poll, public approval of Congress has fallen to near-record lows. On average, 34% of the population approves of a given Congress. The current 114th Congress has a 17% approval rating.
this is from OP

another reason how corrupt our nation's representatives are on terms of tax's from this low approval rating congress, here is there government arm the IRS look at how they operate below.

Al Capone owed 150k in back taxes to irs he went to prison

Al Sharpton owes 4.5 million in back taxes to the IRS and he goes to dinner at the white house ( multiple times).

Also don't forget Israel a foreign country that also donates to U.S elections which should not be allowed they think and act like they our are 51st state.
Actually, I'm interested in this.

Since it is illegal for candidates to accept foreign donations (it doesn't stop the Clintons, does it?), can you, you know, prove which candidates received foreign donations?

Which we can all agree, doesn't make them the worst. Not passing pointless/partisan bills isn't the same as making them ineffective....

I may just be jelly mad of jim jordan... (Ranked #2 in Chanti's OP)

congressman jim jordan

he was basically handed the most republican district in all of ohio and done absolutely nothing other than roll around like a hog in the fat house

his list of accomplishments are so small he still lists "former wrestling coach" on his wikipedia resume.

I can't understand why Boehner wasn't on the list.

He basically let the tea party walk all over him, and the democrats too!

It was the criteria they used.

Quote:
The effectiveness score is the percentage of bills sponsored by each congressperson over their time in office that went on to pass committee. The score does not factor in the percentage of bills that turned into law because such a small number of proposed bills and resolutions actually become laws.

While it’s true that some congresspeople intentionally make an effort to stymie fast-tracked legislation, the members on this list are sponsoring their own legislation and not getting it passed through committee.

"the members on this list are sponsoring their own legislation and not getting it passed through committee."

which means they didn't even make the slightest effort.

they were given a good solid shove but they were still unable to pick their feet up high enough to step over a bar that was left on the ground.

If you are bored and you look into their records (like in the case of Jim Jordan) this sad assessment is spot on.
