Could try canceling update and then restarting it. I vaguely recall it helping sometimes.

Only reason it takes this long is because files for CoP, Aht Urgahn and WotG are installed on the client side.

hows that link work? just unrar it in the FFXI folder then renoot game?
Said no to the 10hr estimate and got it to ~3hrs by canceling/trying again. Well, business as usual here I guess.

unzip it and replace the files with the one's in your FFXI folder.
I went from 9 hours to 7 minutes with this update.

lol yeah right after i typed and send my last thing my POL crashed on me logged back in now update tells me i'm 30min. away X.x before crash it was still 6hours and counting on 30% now i'm on 56% with 25 min to go
What's the filesize for the zipped file?

Worked perfectly with US client. Went from 7hours to 3 minutes.
