First official GOP President announcement
So you admit your comment was stupid? Fair enough for me, that was my whole point to begin with.

Don't ask the government for handouts on things that are not necessary to live. Welp there goes tax breaks and roads. Leviathan.Chaosx said: » Enuyasha said: » The argument is not about controlling your own urges, but someone telling you you have to repress your urges because you are poor and or cant afford contraceptives. Please dont be willingly ignorant. I'm still wondering where these people are that can't afford any type of contraceptive. Gotta rule out anyone who buys alcohol or smokes, because it's not the fault of the taxpayers that people can't manage their own vice budget. Enuyasha said: » You admitted yourself your attempt at an argument was stupid as well. Dont act like you got a win because you did not. Uh, I didn't admit that, unless you have a reading comprehension problem. Oh wait.... Please dont be willingly ignorant. It's called an investment. Spend x millions today on safe sex campaigns so you don't spend y millions on children tied up in the system. Also reduces pesky things like backroom abortions, sex trafficking, prison populations and crime. All for the cost of Lifestyles flooding your offices with excess inventory. In terms of government expenditures you're looking at the shallow end of the pool here. Please dont be willingly ignorant. My argument is if you can't afford to have sex the way you want, the government should not be wasting tax payer money so you can have the way you want it. This isn't Burger King. Instead wait until you can afford it thus allowing the pursuit of happiness to continue. Now unchecked because apparently a sex education campaign was too high a cost to bear. Bahamut.Ravael said: » Enuyasha said: » You admitted yourself your attempt at an argument was stupid as well. (this link, lol: http://www.condomdepot.com/product/catalog.cfm/nid/898)
If you can't afford $5 every 54 times you need to have sex, where are living? A cardboard box? Are you drinking water from the Hudson river? That is not only beyond stupid, it shows a horrible lack of understanding of what it means to be in poverty. There, is that simple enough for you to understand?
Leviathan.Chaosx said: » I don't even know how much condoms cost... what like $5 for a pack of 54. (this link, lol: http://www.condomdepot.com/product/catalog.cfm/nid/898) If you can't afford $5 every 54 times you need to have sex, where are living? A cardboard box? Are you drinking water from the Hudson river? You really underestimate things like access to a computer, a debit card to make a purchase and stable address to pick up said package. You know, simple things that are issues for poor people. We're still talking poor people right? And not suburbia, USA yea? Also, teenagers. You know, the ones that aren't going to order a box of condoms to mom 'n dads house. It's about access and oppurtunity, not any possible way you conjure up to get condoms. People want to ***. People often don't think of consequences. Access to sex education and tools for safe sex have been shown to mitigate the adverse effects of unprotected sex. Condoms are cheap. (for gummint) Governments have a responsibility to point citizens in the right direction with regards to health. We're not going bankrupt because Lifestyles has decided to donate / market their products via municipal handouts. Infact it's beneficial for a company to do so. Brand loyalty and all. So what's the argument here? Pesky liberals acknowledge sex happens and have free tools available? You guys get this worked up when government has small business workshops/advisers on hand to help you start a company? I MEAN TAKE A *** COMMUNITY COLLEGE COURSE YOU WANKERS. ITS LIKE SIX HUNDRED BUCKS. JESUS. Leviathan.Chaosx said: » I don't even know how much condoms cost... what like $5 for a pack of 54. I said earlier it's like 25 bucks for a box of condoms at your local drugstore, nearly 10 bucks for THREE condoms at some places. If you're smart, you buy in bulk but we ain't talking the cleverest people are we.
See how that becomes a barrier when you're paycheck to paycheck? Oh right guys, just don't have sex. Tell her you're budget only allows for three ***/month. Be responsible. Eh... that $5 is probably spent on cheap booze to get the hobos in the mood to begin with. No wonder why they can't afford condoms. Forget food, they need booze and government funded condoms.
Lakshmi.Sparthosx said: » Be responsible. Only a liberal could find that phrase offensive. If you're in college and can't afford birth control, what are you doing there besides demanding free birth control?

Only a liberal could find that phrase offensive. Aww, 'only a liberal'. Do try and find more labels for me, the adherence to ideology is becoming quite nauseating when you've nothing to say. Back in reality, the main group of people sex ed and access to birth control / contraceptive products targets are teenagers/young adults, a group well known for being the the most responsible lot . You'd think that fiscally minded people could see the cost/benefit ratio of said programs but pesky ideology and dogma once again seems to be hijacking primary logical functions. (It's the same reason I'll never get why pro-lifers can't back this but *shrug* religion I 'spose.) When your municipality is going under because of sex ed, you can lecture me about why it's a terrible idea. In the mean time, pragmatic action will lower teen pregnancy rates, inform people that tools are available when you decide to have sex and dispel the myths surrounding sex. You can continue to harp on pie in the sky, all encompassing 'responsibility' Enuyasha said: » Yet you ignore how much tuition/loans can actually be? Plus other variables if mommy and daddy arent supporting you? Can afford $15,000-$50,000+ a year to study, can't afford $20 a month for a recreational activity? Sounds legit. Enuyasha said: » This specifically, is where your argument becomes more and more riddled with holes You can be poor as dirt. You still get the desire to *** come puberty. What the hell universe am I in again? Is this the asexual realm? Have you guys even *seen* a third world country? lol
