New Job: Mime

So now that it's been confirmed that we'll be getting a new expansion with this new job, I wanted to consolidate the conversation onto this thread on what's the best setup for using this multifaceted new job.




Mime, the Master of the Mask



Details
Mime has access to all of the player's unlocked job abilities, spells, and traits.

Configuring your Mime can only be done in the Mog House and cannot be changed when outside. This requires players to plan appropriately according to their planned events.

Mime 1 hour abilities:
Conjuration Mimic - Level 1 - Will copy the most recent spell cast by either a party member or an enemy on the hate list.

Somatic Mimic - Level 96 - Will copy the most recent Job Ability by a party member or the most recent enemy ability from an enemy on the hate list.

Job Abilities

Mime can pick 8 of any of the following:

• 1 Job Ability*

• 1 Summoning Magic Spell

• 2 Ninjutsu Spells

• 2 Blue Magic Spells

• 2 Geomancy Spells

• 3 White/Black Magic Spells

• 3 Songs

*Phantom Roll is limited to 1 roll. Rune Enchantment will only have 1 Rune unless up to 3 Job Ability slots are used for a total of 3 runes. No 1 hour abilities are allowed.

Job Traits

Mime can pick 14 of any Job Trait to set. Increasing the tier must be done with another "slot".

For instance, if you were to set Dual Wield IV, you would need to use four Job Trait slots for Dual Wield.

Skills

Mime can choose which combat skill to be associated to each the following: A+, A, B, C, D, E

Mime can choose which magic skill* to be associated to each the following: A+, A, B, C, D, E

*Singing, String, Wind magic skills may not be set above a C.

Equipment



Mime has access to every single piece of equipment in the game, yes, this includes Relics, Mythics, and Empyrean weapons and armors.

Special

Due to the highly configurable nature of Mime, when setting Mime as your Main Job, you will not be able to set a Support Job.
