Good bye FFXI
I wouldn't think any "model citizens of this game" would go around shitting on someone else's farewell thread. So dramatic.

Especially since the person that started this thread was in the same shell with you on Lakshmi, Amyamy. You're the one that brought Lenus' name up in this thread to begin with. This is not about either one of you. Take it to PM's or the TToF thread. And why in the *** do you keep referring to his shell as an elite shell? I'm in his shell as well and by no means consider myself or it elite. I'm asking a mod to delete both of your posts in this thread and stop derailing it. Nvm, that's about right. I'm apparently the face of Lakshmi, if im bad, we all must be bad. Bad to the bone. But I love you buukki, laugh with me more ingame. It's like Amy doesn't realize that people get repeat groups by being competent and likable. God forbid someone else has a shell they can do events with.

Where are those 2 bummers? Sylph.Lilkat said: » Why would Square ban large amounts of hardcore and addicted players shortly before their financial report was due? It's strange they are so anti cheating when the same team takes almost no action on FFXIV cheating at all. Maybe they assume that a banned ffxi addict will automatically buy or resub to ffxiv and as such push up numbers on that game just before the financial report is due? The timing is very strange, it's also odd they would be so punishing at this time with heavily addicted players when the game is at its lowest point. It makes no sense from a timing standpoint or from a financial one. Maybe it's just a move to, as I said get these banned players to buy or resub to XIV and then they magically unban them all after the financial report or something. Technically a XI player banned right now will still be subbed to XI when the financial report hits, if they also sub to XIV out of boredom that's a 2 for 1 in the numbers war. There is almost certainly some ulterior motive to this, Square are pretty terrible at basic business but they aren't this stupid to do it right before a financial report to investors. As i said, unlike before, the cheating/boting is a lot more explicit now than anytime ive seen in past. When i started, the norm was fish bot, but it was a couple of chars lost in beaucedine. Then cruor bots, but personally i never noticed those that much. Nowaday, its too evident people spark/reive/cp boting, most likely every adoulin zone you can check anon players in almost every decent camp. You can see full alliances ready to rape a lair reives everywhere. And with more explicit boting activity (its not a zone, its entire adoulin), obviously the report will rise, as well the jp complaining in OF, that as i read, its going on for some time. Its common sense that its not eu or na who sustain this game, but the jp community. And jp community overall has higher amount of legit players due to ps2 so it makes sense they getting angry. And if complain in japanese, you have more chances to be read. Basically, cheating always existed, and prob always will. But i think anyone can agree this time, the comunity should have break one or two limits, its too much. Measures should be taken, too bad it reach ffxiah community, but banning rmts is common, from time to time, the rmt groups always change theirs chars, but no rmt comes to ffxiah to complain, so none noticed, and it left an impression that what happened lately is anything special or uncommon. Number in stf site shows banning always had quite a number of accounts taken down. And i dont think bans were due salvage.
Anyone with half a brain wouldnt ever use a main char to exploit. But on the other side, all "cool kids" always wanted to be the latest achievement, thus, capping jp. And for that, the only way is to actually put your main char in risk. Davorin said: » I wouldn't think any "model citizens of this game" would go around shitting on someone else's farewell thread. Btw, i dont think salvage was actually fixed.
Just this week i think i bought over 5k alex from same char. 3k just now... Been saying it wasn't fixed for months. Just because one guy says it's fixed, doesn't make it true.
Never going to be fixed either. And if by some miracle they do, they'll just exploit something else. There is always something to exploit. Literally even the worst player could make a new account, get salvage access, level 99, wayfarer and come out with 800~ alex a day, for a month (24,000) before they got caught (if they ever got caught). Don't even have to try. As long as you don't brag about it no ones ever going to know. Allegedly they haven't even fully fixed the original salvage duping glitch. I wouldn't hold your breath for this to get fixed. These bans are their "fix."
Eventually SE will get fed up with these salvage shenanigans by just making mythics gimp when the next iLevel bump happens.
We already have to run around/wait alot (wasting AM3 time) in skirmishes... Popping a Unity NM wipes aftermath... Getting your weapon knocked out of your hand and losing AM in Incursion... They never really gave up on killing RMEs if you look closely!
