If I want to raise a physical chocobo, feeding my chick carrot paste or vomp carrots, what would be more effective as a chick?

I'm not sure but I fed mine vomp carrots because it's easier to obtain :s My chocobo turned out great so far sooooo, yeah.
Carrots are the best bet. They can be easy to get with Gardening or via the chocobucks vender.
The effect is minimal from food, but the carrots will boost more than paste in my experience.
