2 days ago, Bastok had zero influence in Ronfaure (imagine that). I personally have never seen Bastok claim this region before, and being a bit bored, I decided it was worth a try to take it through bribery of the gaurd there. Having previously done this in Derfland many years ago, I knew the "value" of the armor pieces ahead of time (which ones give the greatest return vs. cost to craft). So, for those who are curious: it took 2 days of crafting and trading various armor pieces to the npc to overtake the lead in the zone at a cost of about 1.5 million gil. for comparison, Derfland was around 300k gil to convert.

Perhaps now that Bastok has a foothold there the zone will be ours more often (though I doubt it, lol) Be sure to get the OP this week just in case^^

Because Bastok doesn't have newbies. Everyone starts in San d'Oria. :P
And it's far from a waste, he just saved a bunch of Bastok people Teleport-Hollas.

Yeah, and Sandy has controlled Gustaberg twice in the last three weeks. Too bad the OP is practically useless due to how far away from Bastok it is. I'd rather choco from the crag(unless we have the quickening moogle power).

The Lyco-flower warp makes it easy. I always carry x12 Carnations on me since I never know if I need to use one, so that OP was nice to have when I was in Sandy. Now I just Warp and BOOM! Bastok Mines.
