Its delusional to think Obama won on merit.

http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/elections/how_groups_voted/voted_08.html

The welfare state voted for their messiah simple as that. It is ordinary Americans fault he won however. When only 130mil people vote its just plain sad. To make matters worse only 125mil voted in 2012.

When Obama is off the ticket blacks no longer feel the need to vote it was obvious in 2010 it will be even more so this election.

The democrats stand no chance in 2016 without a race card to play.

President Obama won because he presented himself as a fair and rational representative vs the other two. McCain is a fairly even minded person but the people running his campaign went with a hard conservative platform. Romni was just hard right to begin with and was pretty clueless about how the average citizen thinks.

The Democrats are going to field a hard left candidate in 2016 as a response to the loss in the senate they are about to suffer. This is typical when a party loses power in moderate area's as those previously moderate members are removed it leaves only the more extreme ones left who run in regions that are predominately biased towards one party. The blame gets put on the party not being "firm enough" to it's core principles and they all turn into a giant circle jerk. Those on the outside just see a bunch of extremists who refuse to compromise and act with fanatical levels fervor. Just look at the responses in this thread, the aggressive tone and refusal to be rational or acknowledge that the opponent is anything except the vile spawn of Satan.

So yeah, the Democrats, in their arrogance, are about to make the same mistakes the Republicans did and assume everyone just agrees with whatever they say because they say it. And that they are somehow "better" then their opponents because their political religion is the "one true" correct one.

I will vote for Bruce Wayne, he kicks bad guy *** in the evening and runs a billion dollar corporation in the day.

Seriously any of you think Rep/Dem matters? Vote for the candidate not in the pocket of big business... Wait nope, never mind you can't there isn't one.

Nope, don't care. I just think its cute how you worship a flipflopper. He wouldn't make it out of primaries.
So, how many issues/policies did Obama promise to not do, and yet, not only did he do it, he doubled down on those issues/policies?

And yet, you continue to worship him, when he is by definition a flipflopper.

Hypocrite much?

The "they're all out to screw us so voting doesn't matter" argument.

If every candidate is hellbent on driving off the cliff, my next question to them is "how fast are you gonna drive the car?".

Elections only matter if people work collectively, but no my single vote means nothing, especially in a state where the majority of Sheep voters would vote for Democrat, if they voted at all and regardless of the candidates platform.

But republicans suck the D hard too so maybe I will just vote democrat to get the warm fuzzy feeling of having my vote matter... nah I got real ***to take care of that matters. Where the fck is Tammany hall when it matters.

Vote in local elections Anything else and Big business is the only vote that counts, heck even then if you have Fraking interests in your area, good luck. [This is not for or against Fraking, just a reason big business would bother with podunk towns]

P.S. Rabbi's have the ear of local politicians in areas with heavy Moderate/Orthodox Jewish populations, one of the few hold outs (Muslim's also) who still work collectively for their interests. Politicians are wary of Muslim support right now so they tread lightly.

But hey a buck and a dream right? Thus its all OK and every has a shot of being Rich like every vote matters.

Dems loosing their grip on millenials.

Who would have thought that forcing younger Americans to buy expensive comprehensive health insurance they don’t need in order to subsidize premiums for older and sicker consumers wasn't exactly the kind of hope and change they wanted?

Interesting how they trust Dems more on every single issue they were polled on and overall they would prefer Dems to control Congress by a 50-43% margin. Also, 9% approval rating for the Tea Party, and Foursquare is not popular at all.

15 paragraphs about young people favoring dem policies and preferring dems control congress and nausi grabs the one line about one poll of a couple dozen people on one college campus reporting a statistically insignificant advantage compared to how a different generation voted.

it's the title of the story...

LIKELY MILLENNIAL VOTERS UP-FOR-GRABS IN UPCOMING MIDTERM ELECTIONS, HARVARD YOUTH POLL FINDS

In contrast to 2010, Millennials reporting they will “definitely” vote in November
prefer Republican-led Congress by slim four-point margin

This is the democrat mind at work right here. Its a disease and should be treated as such.

Don't wanna click the link. "Pro-Post-Birth-Abortion of 5yr old's and younger" say's it all.

It's getting to the point people should have to take a IQ, Common Sense, and psych exam before they can vote with ID!

Would knock out every single Democrat voter.

Poll tax/test! If you are stupid or poor your opinion doesn't matter! (So the people and companies with enough money can determine was the level of intelligence and money you need to have before you can vote) That sounds super fair!

Fun fact: if you're a scientist, you're most likely a liberal/democrat

Well of course scientists tend to be more liberal/democrat.

Republicans demands results, and will cut funding to projects that are obviously wasting time/effort/money.

Democrats will just keep giving money away and "hope" for results.

So, most scientists' living is made while "researching" without producing results. Case in point: Climate Science.

No, that you live in a fantasy world. A world where you can just claim ideas you like and push off ideas you don't like to your opposition, irregardless of reality.

What you just said about scientist, liberals and money is so delusional that it doesn't even qualify as a parody of a human thought.

Sorry, but doesn't Solyndra come to mind almost immediately in regards to the misappropriation of funds and possible fraud/kickback schemes?

And this happened within the first year of Obama's term!

Oh, and before you blame Bush on this one, consider this, Solyndra has been denied access to federal funds prior to Obama's first day in office. It wasn't until after Obama was elected that Solyndra was awarded $550+ million dollars (both in loans and tax breaks) that went down the tubes almost immediately.

Oh, and let's not forget that Solyndra's top shareholders and CEO were huge Obama donors during Obama's first run.

It doesn't, actually. If you picked up news from anywhere else besides the Fox News echo chamber, you'd know that Solyndra was on its way to being profitable, but then China poured tons of subsidies into their solar industry, lowering their prices enough where our companies aren't able to compete. Feel free to research it yourself.

But then, you may have a point too. Maybe 85%ish of all scientist are engaging in some master scheme to siphon American tax dollars over bogus science.

I mean, it could happen, right?

I highly doubt that the Washington Post or even Huffington Post qualifies as conservative news outlets.

But sure, blame Bush Romney Rush Fox News Capitalism the wealthy conservatives China for this "endeavor" from being successful. That's all you ever do, blame somebody else.

But if you think this was a singular event by the Obama Administration and every contract ever awarded wasn't for the personal self-interests of donors, think again.

I'm sure you have somebody to blame for this too.

The thing is, everyone denies watching FOX, which is somewhat believable given their demo ratings, but a handful of people regularly quote EXACT story openers and arguments from FOX presenters. Hilariously, you can hear the same exact soundbite from half a dozen FOX presenters given throughout the day, then hop on here and hear it again from people who claim not to watch FOX.
