This isn't lavender, this is mauvre.
Mauve and lavender are different colors, and you didn't even spell mauve right...
he is using it in the political sense "lame duck president" which has a very specific definition.
how the hell would you know!? maybe he is tripping balls on acid and thinks he is real duck... with a bum leg or something...
It would definitely explain a lot of things.

We've been over this plenty of times. That term has a very specific meaning. We're entering a lame duck congressional session, it's post-election and they are serving the last of their terms. A lame duck president is one who has been beaten at re-election and is serving the last few months of their term. Since Obama is neither eligible for re-election or serving the last months of his presidency, he's not a "lame duck" president. Find a new way to say "I don't like him" that isn't an already widely known and specific political term. I'm pretty sure you understand the meaning of calling the last 2 years of Obama's presidency a "lame duck session".
Of course he won't see it that way, he already said that it was only the democrat/liberal's fault for losing, and that he had nothing to do with their losses.
No, he's not referring to the last 2 years, he's just using the wrong term because it's a way to say liberal or bad without actually saying it.
lame duck
noun
NORTH AMERICAN
an official (especially the president) in the final period of office, after the election of a successor.
"as a lame duck, the president had nothing to lose by approving the deal"
an ineffectual or unsuccessful person or thing.
If it looks like a duck.... and quacks like a duck....
In the common sense, you could use "lame duck" to describe an ineffectual or unsuccessful person, but he is using it in the political sense "lame duck president" which has a very specific definition.
Quote: an official (especially the president) in the final period of office, after the election of a successor. No, I'm referring to the lack of compromise that Obama will undoubtedly have with Congress on anything. Immigration/Net Neutrality/China Climate Deal all shows what he plans to do in the next 2 years in terms of working with others.
That is what makes him a "lame duck" and that will define him for the next 2 years.

Except, no, that would make him an obstructionist, not a lame duck president. You know what will make him lame duck president? The 2016 presidential election. That's it, end of story, find a new way to say he's black.

How pathetic.
What's next, lame duck turns in some racist term?

I've explained why that is the logical conclusion for the endless waves of ridiculous hatred of Obama. It's not the "race card", it's hyperbole.

Never mind that I was also opposed to Clinton when he was president, because some of his policies weren't exactly the brightest ideas either.
But of course I have to be racist to dislike a liberal/democrat president!

Tell me, since Clinton was markedly left of Obama on a lot of things, did you think Clinton was a radical Muslim liberal fascist socialist or whatever you want to call Obama these days? I sure don't remember anyone saying those things about him. I also remember a Republican controlled house working with him directly on a lot of things.
The whole point of bringing up the fact that he's Black is that it's basically the only thing that separates his policies from both Democrat and Republican presidents of the past few decades, and there is clearly far more ire towards Obama than any of them.

Then you obviously don't pay attention to his policies.

I'm not going to say that KN hates Obama because he's black. it's just as conceivable to think that he hates him due to his governance.
on the other hand, it would be a great disservice to honest discourse to say that no one is hating him due to his skin tone.

1. I was talking about Aman, you're the one who stuck your nose into it like you always do, because you have to disagree with ANYTHING I say. Mancrush much?
2. I highly doubt you know what kind of bills were and weren't kept from the floor in any of the 92-00 Senate sessions.
3. I pay closer attention than most, the difference is that I watch his speeches and read the actions rather than hearing about them from some political opinion commentator.

But that's not racism. Nope, it isn't racist until Obama came into office.

Right, when you directly respond to me, you obviously are talking to somebody else, even though you never mentioned them before this. Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night.
2. I highly doubt you know what kind of bills were and weren't kept from the floor in any of the 92-00 Senate sessions.
Why don't you educate us in the number of House bills brought to the Senate floor for debate and the number of House bills kept from being debated.
I'm sure you will notice that number isn't skewed heavly towards the shelved pile as it was during the last 4 years during Reid's tenure and the House take-over in 2010.
3. I pay closer attention than most, the difference is that I watch his speeches and read the actions rather than hearing about them from some political opinion commentator. Your words speak otherwise.

No. A lame duck President is a President near the end of his/her term that becomes irrelevant because no one has any need to work with or support them, particularly those of their own party. They have no political future and are a political liability. This is already Obama. He is toxic. It does not have to be the last few months of a term. Show me where it has to be the last few months.
Is this one of those arguing fir the sake of arguing things again?

The key words in every definition of "lame duck" is that it is the period "after a successor has been elected". There is no president elect, he's not a lame duck.
You can use the wrong words all you want, but we're going to laugh at you even more than we already do.

The key words in every the most common definition of "lame duck" is that it is the period "after a successor has been elected".
Hate to be nitpicky, but clearly those aren't words found in every definition of the term.

The fact that there are common language definitions of "lame duck" has nothing to do with the political definition. Aman has repeatedly used the exact wording "lame duck president" which has one, only one, definition, and those words appear almost verbatim in every single definition of lame duck president. End of discussion.
He doesn't deserve white-knighting, and people like Aman make a mockery of conservative viewpoints that aren't utter gibberish.

Lol. Jassik has completely lost it now. Foaming at the mouth over his misunderstanding of the term lame duck President. You made yourself look dumb but it's alright. No need to insult people because you feel embarrassed. It's all meaningless my friend.

I'm betting either the Republicans gain massive seats in the senate or are one seat short of the majority.
