Question on Vanya Clogs. What typically is the augment path for these? A for CP + -Enmity, B for Skill, or C for CP + Cast Time?

cure potency from job points is a flat bonus to cure rate, and not the same stat as the 'cure potency +x%' found on gear.. you need the 50% from gear regardless

not personally sure if cure casttime caps at 50% or not, but i would assume it doesn't.. as stated the overall casttime reduction cap is 80%

you can get the full 80% from just fast cast traits/gear(confirmed on numerous jobs).. no reason to think that 'cure casttime' would cap lower since we know they are added together before the cap is applied

it's certainly possible they coded a seperate cap for cure casttime, but i wouldn't count on it.. you're most likely remembering that the original casttime reduction cap was 50% during the lv75 days

as a side note, light arts is in a seperate term so when adding up your total fc you can only count it as 2% (.22 * .9 = .198)

Doesn't Light Arts go beyond 80% anyway? I'm pretty sure you still need 80 FC to cap even with Light Arts up, ending up with effectively 82% cast time reduction.

pretty sure austar and i looked at it at some point using packet delay to measure, but i can't find the post so maybe i'm just remembering wrong

do you have a test anywhere to support that? 2% of even the longest spells is going to be less than 1 packet interval, so would need a sample of at least 10-15 casts to be sure

I think that theory is a conflation of SCH's ability to bypass casting speed cap with Grimoire gear. For novelties' sake I can test this theory if someone gives me instructions.

does anybody have a good WS set for Mystic Boon?

trying to build an ideal set for that but there is almost no info about it.

so far what it has is:

ItemSet 353722

Moonshade Earring (ATK+4 TP Bonus+250)
Alaunus Cape (MND+30 ACC+20 ATK+20 Double ATK+10%)

What I Think would be best for it:

ItemSet 353723

is this correct?

These sets have a ton of MND, but you'll likely whiff or hit for barely anything on something higher level.

Does anybody know what the deal is with Raetic Rod? looks amazing for fights where you won't get MP starved (shorter fights at least) if not for everything, but I've seen no mention of it anywhere, nor anyone wearing it. It's pretty attainable now CP2+10% looks pretty sexy to me

Seems like an amazing piece to me. 30% more mp per cure is negligible.

10 cure pot II is weaker than 10% weather term from chatoyant staff, and /sch can aurorastorm itself to activate it

Having 20% I and 10% II would free up space for mnd/vit/skill/enm- in other slots though.

No idea if it ends up being better, but there's been no mention of it at all. Obviously it's the whm thread, but for the other jobs that can use it you generally won't have aurastorms.
