Oh how I wish I was on your server to do this. Got my first job to 70 before sync and loved always going to new areas. What i loved about BST was going to all sorts of new areas and revisiting past areas while xping on stuff besides colibri.

Back then, DRG's had the crappy gear that didn't boost there attack and accuracy.

The "Call Wyvern" ability was there 2hour and the wyvern couldn't even survive one or two fights in an exp party.

Cause oh how much it lost in when they change multihit ws tp. It went from drg being one of the most popular DDs to well sucking. Remember there were no bird camps and your wvyern was your 2hr... and you got crap for gear

-first ferry to aht urghan was packed it was more laggier then jeuno, chocobo from teh crag was 5k~9k
-my friends made millions camping and sell travellers mantle, crafting them was just as good
-doing missions not knowing they had a real purpose
-my first job to 75 was samurai and i think there was maybe 10 other sams cause we were so lol

I remember I was a lvl 13 taru blm, thought I was the ***because I had fire which did 50+ dmg in exp PTs, just got rank 2.... went exploring in the chateau. Found a place called Bostaunieux Oubliette, walked around a bit, found a latch... dropped down to get aggroed by 2 slimes, hitting me for 400+ dmg and a one hit kill. Then continuing to warn all of my linkshell members to NEVER go into Bostaunieux Oubliette because evil things lived there.

Bostaunieux Oubliette was the scariest place to me because it was IN sandy but yet there were scary *** mobs there lol.

Oh and seeing a whm cast "Teleport-Dem" and asking him what that was....only for him to reply <Teleport-Dem> in auto-trans.

Not knowing there was an auto-trans function I tried to type (Teleport-Dem) with parentheses hoping it would teleport me as well lol...at this time i was a lvl 4 warrior

god I love that show, whole reason I started FFXI

I started playing FFXI a couple of months after NA PS2 release and this being my first MMO, the lingo was totally new to me.

At first I taught ...

FTW = F*** that woman
ROLF = Dog Charater from the Muppets (I was really confused on this one, because I taught, Why are they refering to ROLF?)
