Well it's either Console's 60$ usual over the PC's 20-60$. I'd buy more 20$ games too. Bet the PC numbers would plummet if you took out sales on Steam.

PC has more titles. The indie support is responsible for a lot of the bloating of the numbers in recent years. Sony and MS are just now tapping into that, and Sony in Particular cited the indie explosion as influential on their PS4 hardware architecture.

PC's biggest content problem is Quality Control though, especially if you use Steam as your primary vector for games. (Not sure if GoG has same issues, I doubt it)

Of course, there's also the technical problems of PC's. Consoles are closing in somewhat fast, but I still don't have to update an Adobe Flash player every week that tries to install malware (Yes, mcafee is Malware) at the same time. Then install Noscript, update a browser, run a Virus Scanner, replace my LCU coolant, Defrag the HDD, run Benchmarks of new games, worry about compatibility... I could go on for a while.

I'll always prefer having both a console and a PC... If I had to choose one for strictly gaming reasons though, it'd be console because LOL PC GAMERS DONT GET DESTINY!

Give it a few months, Destiny will come out on the PC.

Activision is taking a half billion dollar gamble on this and they want to make 100% the console versions are good to go and stable before they start working on a PC version.

Because Consoles are where the money is sadly

I'm laughing at the fact they attempted to make their game look like poop after release

Edit: Attempted Succeeded*

Well Microsoft has a reason to keep Halo on their console, it'll sell consoles and help themselves and their Xbox brand. Activision isn't the same, they're just a publisher, it'll come out on PC.

I'd anticipate a delay of no less than a year when it comes to Destiny on PC, perhaps more (If ever). Keep in mind that Bungie isn't really answering to Activision, but are in fact in bed with Sony right now, who has more of a reason to keep Destiny off the PC platform than Mircosoft had to keep Halo off.

And Activision isn't even all that concerned with PC anyway. You only need look at CoD: Ghosts for proof of that.

XI won't recognize my PS3 controller's R2/L2 keys for config. ><;

You need to use some form of software. The PS3's drivers were never released on pc.

Motioninjoy is total ***but it does work for it if you are willing to spend a few hours banging your head against your desk to get it to work.

There are 2 other methods, one makes windows think your ps3 controller is an xbox controller and it's okay, but lacks customization. It's what I use to play darksouls II so I don't have to f with my ps2 controller's config for XI.

There is one more method that I think works very well but I can't recall what it was. I gave up on my ps3 controller before I discovered it. I'll see if I can find it for you as it'll probably save you some self inflicted pain.

Watch Dogs PC Update
The dev team is completely dedicated to getting the most out of each platform, so the notion that we would actively downgrade quality is contrary to everything we’ve set out to achieve. We test and optimize our games for each platform on which they’re released, striving for the best possible quality. The PC version does indeed contain some old, unused render settings that were deactivated for a variety of reasons, including possible impacts on visual fidelity, stability, performance and overall gameplay quality. Modders are usually creative and passionate players, and while we appreciate their enthusiasm, the mod in question (which uses those old settings) subjectively enhances the game’s visual fidelity in certain situations but also can have various negative impacts. Those could range from performance issues, to difficulty in reading the environment in order to appreciate the gameplay, to potentially making the game less enjoyable or even unstable.

Thanks for playing Watch Dogs and stay safe on the mean streets of Chicago.

Isn't that why you give players the option to use those settings or not? Some settings may be unstable with certain setups? Really? Isn't that part and parcel of PC gaming?

I'm with those who think something else is behind this, and where Ubisoft is concerned suspicion is always warranted.
