So I broke my avengers earring (STR-1 DEX-1 VIT+1 lightning +9).
So my question is, is there a way to equip an augmented item vs. a regular item with the same name? I could use this (now crap) earring for my chakra build. Problem being my macro only/always equip the non-augmented item if I have them both on me.

^This. Pretty sure you can't pick and choose a specific item named the same way.

Pure guess... but if you can, try equipping both maybe? If your augmented one always lands in ear 2, then re-equip ear 1 with the other earring of choice:

/equip ear1 "Avenger's Earring"
/equip ear2 "Avenger's Earring"
/equip ear1 "Some other earring"

If its always random this won't reliably work. Give it a try ... my guess is it would be prescribed - the original would have a different unique (and lower) ID than the custom version so gets selected first.

That's a good suggestion. I will try that tonight and let you know how it works out. TY
