Audience member: For the last three years, all everybody's been told is, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you." How are you going to do it, in two months before the elections, to convince everybody you've got to take care of yourself?

Romney: There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. And I mean, the president starts off with 48, 49, 48—he starts off with a huge number. These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. And he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. I mean that's what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people—I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5 to 10 percent in the center that are independents that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or the other depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not, what it looks like. I mean, when you ask those people…we do all these polls—I find it amazing—we poll all these people, see where you stand on the polls, but 45 percent of the people will go with a Republican, and 48 or 4…

What am I misrepresenting? Whether or not you feel this is true (it's not), the message he's conveying won't get anyone new votes, which was my entire point.

A healthy imagination will keep ya young.
OH NO IT WON'T!!!
Will help though.

Other things that help keep you, or at least your mind, young include learning new things, being exposed to new ideas, hanging out with people younger than yourself, and playing games.

maybe if you don't do physical work for a living....

I feel like chicken fried ***crammed into a heavy punching bag and beaten non stop by every heavy weight champion that ever held a title....

Politics (Governments) and Religions -- All of that stuff is *** that people made up to control you. They are all false. Find another way. Don't be part of the systems you have been wrongly indoctrinated into since your childhood. Get back to nature and remember what you have forgotten. It can be done without money. Do not believe the things (history, mathematics, science, etc.) they teach you in the corrupt education systems either, because most of those things are lies too. Best wishes to all on seeking out the hidden truths!

Family Values Activist Josh Duggar Had a Paid Ashley Madison Account
Don't agree with how this info was acquired, but I can't help but giggle when one of these sanctity-of-marriage *** gets busted.
Latest on this:

Josh Duggar's name linked to multiple Ashley Madison accounts
MSN....

Links on the MSN page.

Quote:
For the majority of the last two years, Josh Duggar lived a seemingly wholesome conservative life, one wherein he raised his four children and held deeply religious views. It turns out he had another life, one behind the keyboard and one that showed him very open to cheating on his wife.

In data released in the wake of the hacking of AshleyMadison.com, a website dedicated to helping married men and women have secretive affairs, Josh's name appears, and it's hard to argue that it's not him.

In a report from Gawker, someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother paid $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015 -- one when when he lived in Arkansas, and the other when he lived in Washington, D.C.

In his Ashley Madison profile, Josh listed a variety of acts, some of them lascivious in nature, that he would like a partner for, including "conventional sex," "experimenting with sex toys," "sharing fantasies" and "bubble bath for 2." He also has a laundry list of qualities that he likes in a woman, including a woman who "has a secret love nest" or a "naughty girl," among others.

According to Gawker, in July 2014, Josh started a second account that was linked to his home in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The hacked data shows that Josh even purchased "affair guarantee" for $250, which ensures that you will have an affair within three months or your money will be refunded. During this time, Josh worked as the executive director of the Family Research Council, a conservative lobbying group in D.C. which seeks "to champion marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society."

In May 2015, Josh resigned from his job as reports surfaced that he molested five girls as a teenager. He also shut down his Ashley Madison accounts, around this time, records show.

As the molestation scandal mounted, Josh admitted to the wrongdoing and said he sought God for forgiveness. His ultra conservative family, meanwhile, came to his defense multiple times and couldn't understand why people were hung up on actions committed 12 years prior.

Josh's wife, at the time, also came to his aid, saying she knew the kind of man Josh was when she married him. In a statement, she said he was "someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right."

In the wake of the molestations scandal, advertisers on the family's reality show "19 Kids and Counting"dropped like flies and the TLC network canceled the show.

I guess since we're on the subject of sexual deviants now... seriously, Jared Fogle? Following on the heels of Cosby, how many role models do we have to lose to stuff like this? I guess it's good that Fred Rogers is dead, otherwise we'd all be eyeing him suspiciously now too.

Eh, I wouldn't call him a role model even sans the child porn. He didn't do anything particularly special besides lose a pile of weight and pitch subway sandwiches. Cosby was an entertainer, comedian, activist, etc.

As far as I'm concerned, kids don't need absentee role models, they need parents. The less time they spend idolizing public figures and more time spent learning social and life skills, the better we as a whole will be.

As far as I can tell, Jared was a motivational speaker that inspired a lot of people to lose weight. That at least counts for something. I definitely agree with the second paragraph, though.

Israeli 'spy dolphin' caught off Gaza coast

A dolphin purportedly conducting a "spying mission for the Israeli Government" has been apprehended by the Gaza-based militant group Hamas in the Mediterranean sea, it was reported.

The dolphin caught the attention of the Palestinian militants because it was conducting "suspicious" manoeuvres in the water, Hamas said.

The group controlling the coastal enclave said the dolphin had been equipped with "video cameras" and other "espionage" tools.

According to the Al Quds publication, the dolphin was also carrying a device capable of firing arrows which could harm a human being. The animal remains in Hamas custody.

Dolphins, as well as sea lions, have been used for military purposes by the US and other armies since the 1960s.

Animal, bird and even rodent spy sightings arise from time to time in the volatile Middle East.

In 2007, fourteen squirrels were reportedly "arrested" on surveillance charges in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The country's media network IRNA reported that the rodents were discovered carrying "eavesdropping devices".

A year later, Iranian security forces arrested two suspected "spy pigeons" near a nuclear facility.

In 2011, a "Mossad vulture" was captured in Saudi Arabia on suspicions of surveillance.

User of cheating site Ashley Madison exposed on live radio in Australia

A user of cheating site Ashley Madison has been outed on live radio after a suspicious wife phoned in and asked the hosts to check her husband's email address against the list of hacked accounts.

The woman phoned DJs Ryan "Fitzy" Fitzgerald and Michael "Wippa" Wipfli on Australian radio network NOVA after they encouraged women who suspected their partners of cheating to call their show, News.com.au reports.

"We've found a website that all you need to do is put in an email address or a username and it will tell you if your name has popped up on Ashley Madison," said Fitzy.

Jo, which was not the woman's real name, called the show to say that when the Ashley Madison hack came on the TV news her husband "went a bit funny".

"I asked him straight out and he said, 'Don't be stupid, we're married, we've got two kids'."

The suspicious wife told the radio hosts how her husband had been "snippy", changed his work hours recently, and kept his phone close to him.

"I feel like we're on Jerry Springer," said Fitzy.

The hosts put the man's details into the site and told the Blacktown woman that he featured on the site.

After a few seconds of awkward silence, Jo said, "Are you serious?" News.com.au reported.

"Yeah I'm sorry," said Fitzy.

"Are you freaking kidding me? These websites are disgusting..." said a distressed Jo, before hanging up.

News.com.au says it was immediately clear that the radio hosts regretted the on air incident.

"I don't know if we should have done that," said Wippa.

"That hasn't left me with a good feeling. What a horrible situation to be in."

Wippa then urged Jo not to jump to conclusions.

The thing about the AM site and its hacking is that regardless of whether you agree with it's morality (I don't, emphatically), it is 100% legal and these hackers have broken serious laws and placed many, many people in financial and social danger.

Vigilantes acting as morality police in the quite literal sense is intolerable and the people who did it need to be found and punished, severely.

Unless people would like to see some extremist Christian hacker group target, say, the WoW or FFXI database and post our credit and personal information for anyone to target who has the means to view it on the basis of some firm Christian beliefs hold that role playing is a sin in the eyes of god because you're pretending to be something God didn't make you and rejecting what he did make you. (...which sounds crazy as ***, but that was told to me by a Catholic church official at one point in my youth.)

As much as fantasizing about vigilantism can be amusing or gratifying (see: The Boondock Saints, Deathwish, etc.), true vigilantism is among the worst actions "good" people can take in regard to injustice or actions they view as wrong.

I have no problem with promiscuity. Bang everyone all you want. Have orgies that would shame Caligula. Have a ball (or twelve). Hedonism gone wild.

It's the lying aspect of affairs that bother me.

You gave your word.

Admit you are unable to keep your word and end it.

Don't go behind the back of someone who trusts you.

But like I said, my feelings on the topic don't matter, it's not illegal, and turning a blind eye to those exposing people's personal information left and right is a dangerous precedent to set just because some people view their actions as immoral.
