For the ∞'th time, why separate them at all?
Yeah, you keep saying that, but you really need to be more specific about how you think that would work in the case of large bathrooms. People would demand extra privacy in stalls and urinals would make people uncomfortable. The reduction in space and the increase in cost would be major deterrents. In spite of yours and Ramyrez's feels about the matter, there are logistic benefits in keeping them separate.
When did I bring feels into it?
You need to stop hanging around with certain people, it's making you say weird ***.
I'm all for more privacy in stalls, works for me.
Oh no, an increase in costs, what ever shall we do!
Talk about feelz on the matter.
Okay, you're obviously not thinking here. Consider for a moment the stories you hear about bathrooms at, say, sporting events. I recently heard a story where dudes were peeing in cups/bottles in line because the line was too long. Now imagine if we took away all the space/time-efficient urinals and replaced them with stalls. Less people can get in, it takes longer to do your business, and now all the people just needing a quick pee have to compete with the dudes (and ladies in your case) who have extra business to take care of. In tiny venues, sure, your idea might work. In any place that actually pulls a crowd, it's moronic.

Then the stadiums should build more restrooms.
I am thinking, you're just not thinking along the same line.

Okay, so they would have to go out of their way to build, clean, and service extra bathrooms that they wouldn't need if they just kept them separate. All in the name of fixing a problem that practically nobody is complaining about. Not to mention all the idiots who would rather pee on the seat rather than lift the dumb thing, thus tying up more stalls with unnecessary maintenance.

Yeah, they need a few more efficient bathrooms, not double or triple the amount that it would take with your method. Maintaining the status quo is great when the status quo makes a bajillion times more sense.

They shouldn't have to cater for the needs of a select few because your feels are hurt.
Because if you do want them to do this to sate your feels, then you would also support other things, like having a bridge to nowhere (because one person may end up using it this year, then again, may not).
Because, feels.

Well, my "opinion" is based off of logical estimates of time, with considerations for cost, space, maintenance, and general practicality. The opinion on the other side is based off of what people want to see happen, with no consideration for logistics.
Try as you may, you can't force utopian ideals. If you can't make the pros outweigh the cons, things will never change. Armchair warriors want change but aren't willing to put in the effort to innovate something that will make the change actually become the better option.

Calling it my opinion isn't some magical trump card that nullifies my argument. My argument is based on metrics that are in most cases quantitative and measurable. Your argument is mostly qualitative. Since the status quo is the default, it's up to you to show why your qualitative view should outweigh everything else. If you're up to the challenge, present an actual argument and I'd be glad to debate it then.

Also I didn't state what my basis was for my argument, so your analysis of it is poor, at best, and it is still just your opinion.
Bug me about it later, I have ***to kill.

Gender specific restrooms make as much sense as unisex restrooms assuming you're starting from scratch. Integrating them would be as simple as taking the sign off the door. Most have dividers between urinals already, and the same number of people would theoretically still be using the facilities, only now they'd just have two restrooms instead of one. It might even work better for places like stadiums where the majority of patrons are men.
That said, I couldn't care less about segregated restrooms, and it's a pointless thought experiment because people would self segregate out of habit or comfort and there are far more important things to focus on. If you want to build a building with unisex restrooms, as far as I know there is nothing stopping you, but don't expect companies lining up to occupy it anytime soon.

Well having unisex bathrooms with urinals fixes the quantitative problem. I think it's a terrible idea for the psychological aspect, as it's not just your conservative female prudes that would be uncomfortable being in that environment, especially if the men are drunk. And then you start taking into account the fact that children use the bathrooms too, and suddenly you have parents on edge when they wouldn't normally be along with all the potential litigation bait there. I just can't see it going well. I agree that there are more important things to focus on, so I doubt it will become too much of a societal concern anytime soon.

What braindead mod rubber stamped jet's harassment report on this? Last I checked, there was no rule against hyperbole and there's nothing even remotely resembling a personal attack there.

I thought that was KN somehow being silly about it and put it in himself, given the subsequent post. It didn't seem like a very inflammatory post, especially for him. That said, could be a "straw that broke the camel's back" situation.

What about asexual bathrooms ? What is the fixation with trans gender bathrooms ? I thought we discussed this many times before and we decided we didn't care !

Well, today is Corpus Christi, celebration of Christs body.
Catolic celebration, or for us people not much into religion, a holyday.
Anyway, just some topic i thought it should be mentioned here, have a good day.

As far as I know, there are no actual bans on FFXIAH, more like increasingly long suspensions. That "user was banned" is a BG thing, so I'd assume he put it in himself to attempt to make some kind of statement even he doesn't understand. Especially since he's [+]'d about a dozen posts since then.

I think it's time that we reinstitute the draft. Not for military service, mind you, but for presidential candidates. Random schmoes would probably make a better field than most of what we're getting on both sides so far.

The discipline system is actually fairly complex.
You can lose access to specific things without losing others (like PMs, forum posts, etc are all separate permissions). Also, there are permanent bans, but for the most part increasingly long suspensions are the methodology.

Sure, there is no personal attack here but the trolling attempt by antagonizing/baiting Jet to respond to KN in a certain way is against the rules. This is after the countless times I've told KingNobody to leave Jet alone which it seems he just can't resist. Therefore, he was 'rubber stamped'.
