I ask the same question what does a hippie liberal douche need a ipad for ?

The dominant players are largely working on a model that caters to the older Pittsburgh generations that want a very limited set of specific things, they want a lot of it, and they want it for as cheaply as they can get it. Just got word that Colorado senators from both sides of "the fence" are unwilling to sit down with the opposite side to create much needed judgeships.
Good to know that the partisan nonesense is spilling over into the judiciary. Offline

I mean I know some people love to spend time on which dish soap is better than which but I don't. I want soap. Preferably whichever is being marked down. We don't have the type of WalMarts or Targets everywhere that most of the country has but we do have places like Gristedes, D'agostino or Food Emporium if you're looking for a more 'upscale' supermarkets. Really, the only difference between the former 3 and your working class supermarkets (independent chains) are very few specialty items and insane markups. Kirkland products are typically solid, meats are best bought in bulk but by admission eating the same meat for days on end does get bland as ***. I tend to end up mixing frozen veggies with fresh ones to stretch 'em and dear lord 7 dollars for a pack of strawberries at Whole Foods is just suicide. Offline

I only support evil companies like Starbucks and Wal Mart Nike Levi's Sony and Square Enix.
Square Enix isn't evil.
They're bumblefuck incompetent. Offline

I actually don't support Japanese video game companies or not anymore.
Least not Square Enix. Lakshmi.Sparthosx said: » Square Enix isn't evil. They're bumblefuck incompetent. Offline

The only way to fix SE is to fire all the employees and start over in America.

Well the Japanese way of doing things is pretty terrible.

Aldi's isn't as good as they used to be imo, because a lot of the "generic" brands they used to have were decent, but my more recent experiences with them aren't great. Around here we have Giant Eagle and Shop n' Save (as mentioned previously), Walmart, Aldi's, and a handful of local shops. There is a very good local grocery store on the other side of the town I work in, but getting there during rush hour and then making my way back across town to get home in the next town over is...painful, to say the least. Oh, and we don't actually have Costco, and Sam's is very close to the local place I just discussed. ._.; My choices for shopping in any reasonable amount of time are GE and Walmart. And I guess Aldi's, but as stated, I don't like a lot of their stuff anymore. Edit: The worst thing is I'm like 99% certain that Giant Eagle has an agreement or contract of some sort with Wegman's and Giant foods (not affiliated with GE) to stay out of the Pittsburgh region. You can say what you will about EA I probably won't buy any Ubisoft game for quite a while !
It's a shame cause I loved early Assassin Creed games. Seraph.Ramyrez said: » Lakshmi.Sparthosx said: » fonewear said: » The only way to fix SE is to fire all the employees and start over in America. But they own Bioware, who I don't think has ever made a game I disliked. So it's difficult. EA has tons of properties I love and then they manage to *** somehow. SimCity DRM, Mass Effect debacle, Command and Conquer DRM and ruined etc. Dragon Age is great but the company is still a festering boil of DLC and annoying corporate practices that highlight the worst of the gaming industry. Lakshmi.Sparthosx said: » Mass Effect debacle Which debacle is that? The one where fans threw one collective giant hissy fit because the ending wasn't everything they wanted it to be? Except they all wanted it to be something different? I dislike EA's business practices as much as the next guy, but I'm somewhat critical of Bioware having caved and changed their artistic vision because of some very loud whiners. I think it sets a terrible precident. Let's be honest. Gamers are a pretty entitled bunch. |
