Looks like the sun is to blame for all this cold. Who would have thought the sun affected the earths temperature so much.
http://www.landscheidt.info/?q=node/50 We should fight this by pumping more Co2 into the atmosphere, our record levels of the past decade have not been enough to stave off record breaking or close to it events across the country. Seems if the sun does not cooperate its going to be another mild summer. http://iceagenow.info/2015/02/great-lakes-likely-ice-records-began-meteorologist/ Paged! Al Gores infamous prediction. So you both live in the south?

For reference, check how little precipitation Alaska gets, particularly inland, particularly in winter. Although, for all that I'm saying it's been a mild winter, I grew up in Maine and this kind of snowfall was not unheard of in the halcyon days of my youth in the 80s. It's not like winter never existed before climate change deniers started trumpeting. Shiva.Onorgul said: » Bahamut.Ravael said: » A little bit of both. I have family in Indiana that doesn't think the winter is mild either. I would only truly judge off of data, though, as anecdotal evidence means jack to me. Regardless, a mild winter does not climate change make. Offline

Altimaomega said: » Quote: But two aspects of this system for measuring surface temperatures have long been worrying a growing array of statisticians, meteorologists and expert science bloggers. One is that the supposedly worldwide network of stations from which GHCN draws its data is flawed. Up to 80 per cent or more of the Earth’s surface is not reliably covered at all. Furthermore, around 1990, the number of stations more than halved, from 12,000 to less than 6,000 – and most of those remaining are concentrated in urban areas or places where studies have shown that, thanks to the “urban heat island effect”, readings can be up to 2 degrees higher than in those rural areas where thousands of stations were lost. To fill in the huge gaps, those compiling the records have resorted to computerised “infilling”, whereby the higher temperatures recorded by the remaining stations are projected out to vast surrounding areas (Giss allows single stations to give a reading covering 1.6 million square miles). This alone contributed to the sharp temperature rise shown in the years after 1990. But still more worrying has been the evidence that even this data has then been subjected to continual “adjustments”, invariably in only one direction. Earlier temperatures are adjusted downwards, more recent temperatures upwards, thus giving the impression that they have risen much more sharply than was shown by the original data. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/11367272/Climategate-the-sequel-How-we-are-STILL-being-tricked-with-flawed-data-on-global-warming.html Quote: Homewood has now turned his attention to the weather stations across much of the Arctic, between Canada (51 degrees W) and the heart of Siberia (87 degrees E). Again, in nearly every case, the same one-way adjustments have been made, to show warming up to 1 degree C or more higher than was indicated by the data that was actually recorded. Literally. Everyone. And, concurrently, what do we do about the problem of trying to convince someone their thoughts are wrong basically being counter-productive? Does that error (because it is an error) go away when one is aware of it? Since figuring the problem out a long time ago, I try to suspend my natural resistance to contrary data, but I am unsure how successful I am. This is confounded by the fact that what I believe may not necessarily be wrong, e.g., no argumentation is going to convince me that routine and virtually mandatory vaccination is immoral, dangerous, unhealthy, or otherwise wrong. Knowing your biases, and understanding them would make your responses better, so you wouldn't have the "foot-in-mouth" syndrome as often as others. Everyone still has that, it's just that you can drastically reduce the number of times you say something stupid that way. Bloodrose said: » I was a fan of Jupiter. That's right. Then it'll all make sense. your on to something here with that comparison, because there is zionist party's. But not all Jews support zionism. So you got a divide in a single ethnicity. Much like there was a national socialist German workers party, more commonly known in the u.s as Nazi Party that was active during the 1920's to 1945. Not all Germans supported them so there was a minority over a majority mostly wealthy aristocracy that backed tyranny. or how Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of government and corporate power. We see a good deal of corporate special interest even today they speak louder then the citizens of a nation with Money buying representative favor. Do you think corporations have a right to rule a nation or do you think the people should have the sole right to rule a nation? Perhaps Communism to Majority Ruled Democracy, this comparison sounds strangely familiar to Fascism and Corporatism. Communism you have lack of private freedom or private ownership and Choice. Yes look at the word Choice typed there think about it. Having a choice between 1 governing party of ideals or 2 party of ideals does not sound like much of a choice does it? Especially when the majority party has more say over there ideals then a minority? You know what all these forms of government have in common? They are part of political parties. Our most prominent founding fathers opposed factions like political parties. Inciting party's are like bitter rivals and are too quickly to think of there own interest then the peoples interest. That i feel and our founding fathers were in favor of the people and it is injustice to look away from that view when political parties are right in front of us falsely representing. Seriously. Political parties have been around since the first election. You know, the one that our founding fathers actually ran against each other with. Washington was elected President based on his ability to lead, he is the only President who was elected unopposed, and he will forever be the only President who will be elected unopposed. So, again, leave the thinking to people who are more educated than you, flower-head. BTW flower-head, what's your response to the video I posted just for you? Are you going to ignore it because answering my question will leave you in a conundrum? Do you even know what "conundrum" means? Offline

I used to get a lot of Atheists posting stuff on my Facebook. I've never encountered more unpleasant people in my life.

I carry God is not Great everywhere. I often read Mein Kampf near synagogues. I have framed pictures of Chairman Mao, Lenin and Stalin in my home. I wear fedoras alot. I offer to debate people but most of them clearly can't match my intellect. I may or may not have a neckbeard. I wear glasses. I often shout out there is no God just to remind everyone. I enjoy being smug. I burn Bibles on Facebook. Seriously though, I do wear a Trilby often. Don't worry, Jeb Bush has promised more neocon if he's elected. He's even tapped Wolfowitz again because we really need the Dubya team... again. At least we know if we don't ground invasion ISIS by '16 that we'll definitely be doing some liberating by then.
Bush v. Clinton. You're getting a dynasty one way or the other 'Murica. Personally, I would vote for Walker than Bush.
