And in other news. From Forbes which can hardly be called liberal....
The Real IRS Flap Is About Dark Money, Not Emails
Quote: Don’t get distracted by the political theater over lost IRS emails. There is little new about headline-seeking politicians berating IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. Like most of what happens in Congress these days, these second-rate star chambers do little more than create cable TV sound bites and base-motivating outrage.
But get past the shouting and two very important issues remain on the table: The first is the IRS has been terribly managed for years and needs to be fixed. It’s easy to forget, but that’s why Koskinen is there.
The second is that the commissioner appears undeterred in his efforts to rewrite the rules for 501(c)(4) non-profits that are engaged in political activities. That seemingly obscure effort will have an enormous impact on future U.S. elections and the balance of political power in the U.S. And it gets better.
Do read.
/smile
Edit: Oh **** I paged....

Why is the UN meddling in our affairs?
The UN is hiring people in New York for a special job.
https://inspira.un.org/psc/UNCAREERS/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/UN_CUSTOMIZATIONS.UN_JOB_DETAIL.GBL?Page=UN_JOB_DETAIL&Action=A&JobOpeningId=34627&
Disarmament is the collection, documentation, control and disposal of small arms, ammunition, explosives and light and heavy weapons from combatants and often from the civilian population.
Demobilization is the formal and controlled discharge of active combatants from armed forces and groups, including a phase of “reinsertion” which provides short-term assistance to ex-combatants.
Reintegration is the process by which ex-combatants acquire civilian status and gain sustainable employment and income. It is a political, social and economic process with an open time-frame, primarily taking place in communities at the local level.
The objective of the DDR process is to contribute to security and stability in post-conflict environments so that recovery and development can begin. DDR helps create an enabling environment for political and peace processes by dealing with security problem that arises when ex-combatants are trying to adjust to normal life, during the vital transition period from conflict to peace and development.

You forgot to copy/paste the rest of the information from the site:
Quote: Where do we do it?
We support DDR processes through several of our missions:
Democratic Republic of the Congo - UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO)
Côte d’Ivoire - UN Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI)
Haiti - UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), through Community Violence Reduction
We are at the planning stages for both Darfur/Sudan - African Union-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) and Somalia - UN Political Office for Somalia (UNPOS)*.
We also provide operational advice and support to:
Burundi - UN Integrated Peace-Building Office in Burundi (BINUB)*
Central African Republic - United Nations Integrated Peace-building Office in the Central African Republic (BINUCA)*
Guinea-Bissau - UN Integrated Peace-building Office in Guinea-Bissau (UNIOGBIS)*
* Special Political Missions led by the UN Department of Political Affairs. Don't worry. The big, bad UN isn't coming after you. Find something else to wet your pants over.

How could an organization with no power come after anyone anyway? no power, and quickly losing any kind of credibility and relevancy.
Needs to be usurped by another updated version... let's call it...
Untied Nations... since we're clearly not united.

Another good Christian pervert. Christian radio host in Michigan busted in child sex probe Quote: John Balyo, 35 — the morning host on WCSG, based in Grand Rapids — was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct after an investigation found he had paid for sex with minors On excommunication, it means that they can't accept the Host nor can they confess. I must admit that it is highly unusual to excommunicate a group, its almost always been individuals since the time of the great schism. Far more public education perverts than christian perverts you know!
Implying that they're mutually exclusive?
Far too many sick people in general, regardless of their vocation.
The point here is more the inherent irony of someone who (presumably) pushes good Christian values on the airwaves being caught in...not-so-good-Christian behavior. I think Nausi's point is, while there are many perverts out there, why are people only picking on one group? Because these are the people who claim to be more moral than the rest of us.
And a few of them lie to gain access to their victims. So do a few teachers, scout leaders, and football coaches its true, but the Christians CLAIM to be more moral.
I hardly think renting 12 year old boys is moral.
WHAT PART OF THIS DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?
Um. The most preachy people I've ever met in my life have been teachers, and I know far more of them than I do clergymen of the catholic church.
I bet its the same for you!

They claim to be a Christian but it doesn't mean they are, someone can be a Pastor and not be a Christian, or in this case a Christian Radio Host. Since it is a belief and not a given title.

It's been the liberals on the front-page PC policing everything as of late.

I mean cmon... You would think so, but then I'm sure there are people here with some kind of off the wall defense of them, because of mental issues, possibility of rehabilitation, freedom of expression, etc. With the change on forum rules yesterday, there is now another defense layer they can use and abuse.
I'll probably be perma-banned in a week. Fonewear the week after. Chaosx before the end of the year.
Nausi and Amand doesn't post often, but the next time they do, automatic perma-ban because of hurt feelings.
Saevel would probably be banned sooner than me if he posts soon. Ravael may make it to see next year. Depends on how butthurt people will get after the slew of perma-bans coming up.
But those who are just as bad on the general opposing side (especially the worst offenders of the whole website, those who are worse than us) of our viewpoints will be ignored, even if we specifically show evidence of rule breaking.
So, I guess you should watch what you say to prevent butt-hurts.

snippit said: Behavior
As with the current rules we have in place, this section is less watched so debates can get out of control and lead to shenanigans that causes butthurt to get to an unrealistic level. With that said, here's a detailed list of what you can and cannot say to other people:
- Do not insult other people
Belittling other people for their intellectual taste in their opinion is insulting them. Therefore calling someone stupid, an idiot, dumb, etc; is insulting no matter the structure of the sentence.
- Do not post to incite a negative reaction purposely
This is for you people who have an insatiable urge to funk a thread up for your own amusement. Stop it! You will be removed.
- Debates
Debates are allowed, contrary to belief. However, there is a fine line in debating and insulting as we all know and the need to be 'correct'. Please debate the content given and not the person who has given it. Calling the content stupid, idiotic, dumb, etc; by no means is insulting a person but their idea/opinions which is allowed.
- Off-topic posts
These will be deleted on sight. Users will be warned and then topicbanned if any further offtopic ways continue.
- Reporting
If you find a post that is very much against the rules, report it and pick the best reason why you are reporting it. It helps us track down these posts and will allow us to take care of it as quickly as possible. If you wish to talk to staff personally, you can contact AnnaMolly, Aelius, or Alyria. <-- These are links to their accounts.
Do not contact the admin as they do not perform forum duties that the mods are suppose to handle. So please do not contact Scragg or any other red bars for anything related to the forums and it's users.
Bolded are the rules that will be abused frequently.
Random Politics & Religion is for topics that aren't thread worthy on their own and do not have their own existing thread.
Rules and Guidelines
Forum Rules and P&R Section Guidelines still apply.
Satire is tolerated.
If your topic covers a story over 6 months old (Watergate, Benghazi, 2012 Election, etc.) post it here.
Discussions on racism, homophobia, transphobia, and the like are allowed, targeted insults based on these will not be tolerated.
Political debates get heated and are meant to be intense, if you take offense to being called or proven wrong, you don't belong here.
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen; if you prove you can't handle the criticism you bring upon yourself in this thread, you may be removed from it. You are responsible for what you post.
Along those lines, heat is fine, but sustained, clearly personal hostility is not okay. The personal attack rules still apply. Attack positions, not posters. Failure to adhere to this will result in your removal from the thread.
This thread is NOT the Flame Core.
These rules are subject to change and modification where and when needed.
Random Politics & Religion may be mained or demained depending on the activity within at a Moderator's discretion.
With that out of the way, let the debates begin!
