If asked to furnish a list of the "bad laws" you are talking about, I'm sure you'd come up with 2 or 3, do you have any idea how many laws have been passed in the last 6 years? The president has quite a lot of power afforded to them in terms of executive legislation. It's not unique to Obama, either, what's unique is how pissed people are about the actions he's taken which are still very far short of what many recent presidents have done, Bush and Reagan for example. I haven't seen the latest demographics from the midterm elections, but in recent years they've voted 60%+ Democrat, 30-40% Republican in major elections. And when you look at how many of them self-identify as Democrat or Republican, it's even more of a divide. And when you look at how many of them self-identify as Democrat or Republican, it's even more of a divide. Have you looked at the average age of Hispanic Americans? Their demographics have changed significantly in the last decade. They are the fastest growing portion of the American population and are increasingly conservative and religious. They are one of the few groups whose millennials aren't incredibly a-religious. The last exit polls I saw for Hispanics were 2012, and it was more like 45% dem 35% rep, which is still a large spread, but not the exclusivity that people claim. Who cares if they helped draft it? Or if they aided in brainstorming sessions about it. They all voted against it. All you can hold them accountable for is taking part in creating a bill, not making a law. Drafted bills aren't laws. Period. Liberals & communists downright refuse to accept the fact that their ideology is now deemed by the electorate as responsible for the misery of the last 6 years and the resulting ***-whooping that ensued from said realization last Tuesday was a call to stop it. What do we hear from the choir on this site? 'Well the republicans and tea baggers are just as responsible'. No, they're not! Education as a metric swings very heavily depending on level of higher education and field. Since you made an incorrect assertion that Hispanic conservatives fall in line with the "religious right social policies like abortion," maybe you should look at the graph that you quoted again. Here, let me hold your hand while you look at this graph one more time: Was that so hard? Notice that a group that mostly identify themselves as Democrats (or leaning towards them) also support a "religious right social policy like abortion"? Care to explain? You claimed that education was the dividing line then furnished a graph with hispanics identifying as republicans at nearly the same rate as whites. Also, where's the column for how many identify as democrat and how many don't identify with a major party?
The graph challenges nothing either me of Flavin said. Try again. Also, where's the column for how many identify as democrat and how many don't identify with a major party? I'm sorry that there are more successful Hispanics here in San Antonio who identify themselves as Republican than Democrat. I should have said "it seems like there are more successful Republicans than democrat/liberals, especially in the Hispanic community." As for the chart, I'm surprised at you. Either you are being obtuse on purpose, or you have been faking intelligence all along. Either way, it doesn't look good for you. I'm sure that you will deny that chart showing that the lack of identified Republicans in the Hispanic community, but strong support against abortion, has any meaning. What about this is hard to understand, 44% of americans identify as independent, only about 25% identify as republicans. Your chart shows 3 different figures with no actual population figures, one of them being HIGHER than the average. You failed to demonstrate what you think you're demonstrating. Heads up, just because 100% is the whole doesn't mean that everyone subscribes to 1 party or the other.
