The author's analysis of the facts are opinions. I find his closing argument unassailable. Cruz said two things at different times. They are so contradictory that one must be a lie.
But he masterfully left himself wiggle room.

Rand Paul passes on Fox debate as lineup announced
On the one hand I don't really blame him considering he seems to be meeting the criteria Fox set, but on the other hand no one is really interested in his isolationist platform.
