Ok I've got to step in here. Jet fuel doesn't need to "melt" steel in order to cause structural failure.
The hotter a steel beam becomes, the weaker it becomes. The heat required to cause a steel member to fail below it's designed limit is far below the heat required to melt it.

1. It makes no sense outside of its context used as a racial epithet.
2. Lots of whites have come to call themselves the naggers as the word has diffused to being a term of endearment (or essentially 'dude') in *certain* circles. Maybe one day it'll detach from being racially loaded. And the South will rise again.

Yes, the international sign for insulting black folk, calling someone a monkey is perhaps not racist. So why exactly do European soccer fans love it so much? Why not a penguin, a raven, an orca?

A person that misperceives a statement to be racist, is often (but not always) a racist.
Intent of the speaker determines if the speaker is racist, not the listener.

If racism is validated by how many people feel it to be, then it doesn't really matter if racism really exists or not. It will forever be a problem as long as someone can make someone else feel it to be.
