Seems like such a common band to me. It comes from the quality of their music, their appearance, their public persona.... Basically, there is nothing NOT to hate about them. Everything wrong with alt rock personified. YouTube Video Placeholder I can't watch the video at work so I have to assume it's the right one, but basically they're as company-made, pre-packaged, lame-*** as rock can get. They're The Eagles for the 2000s without the charm of Joe Walsh or the suaveness of Don Henley to save them. IDK. 'Leader of Men' was decent in 1999/2000. Not sure what happened. I think it was kind of like Staind and 'Mudshovel' it all went down from there. Started out strong then petered out after one hit. /shrug EDIT: Upon listening to these again, yuck! So angry. I think I'll stick to Joe Walsh. With Pleebo as John Travolta and KN as Olivia Newton John.
P&R deathmatch: every 100 pages the worst poster gets topicbanned until only one remains, victorious, talking to himself.

Speaking of which, I think we're about 200 pages past due, since 3 of the people banned were the same person. Damnit Seha now I'm listening to Eagles non-stop....

Tiffany Thiessen didn't pick me, either. You get over it. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » I think it was kind of like Staind and 'Mudshovel' it all went down from there. "Break the Cycle" wasn't a bad album as far as Staind goes, but yeah. They dropped off kind of quick too. They weren't as formulaic as Nickelback, but they didn't have staying power. I'm personally listening to a lot of jazz in minor keys today myself. Just that kind of day. Valefor.Sehachan said: » With Pleebo as John Travolta and KN as Olivia Newton John. I was about to scold you for bringing Grease up, but this is *** literal "lol" material. Made my coworkers look at me funny. Ramyrez said: » Tiffany Thiessen those pants..lmao. It's such a different era, makes you wonder what people in 30 years will laugh about today's fashion. The show in general, sure. But I dunno; some of her looks in that show are still pretty smokin' if you ask me. Then again, I fell for her before that during the Bayside High years. Also, I think I was like 8-9 when the infatuation began. So take it with a grain of salt. There's a lot of nostalgia there clouding the issue. I meant all of those actors in general. You see those jeans worn under their arms lol. Super wooly hair and robocop shoulders for women.
Yeah, fashion has changed so much, nobody would find this attractive...

Nobody seems to know what is going on in the House anymore, my prediction: Boehner stays on as speaker through the end of this Congress. |
