you don't really need to comprehend it. Might be how they're wired or they might care a lot about what others think of them. You know you're buddy's might tear you a new one if you bring a fatty around.

It is what it is and there's nothing wrong with going after what you specifically want.

Don't expect a lot of sympathy along the way if you're going to be a huge *** about it though... just like I don't really have any sympathy for the woman as she lied to get to that point I don't have any sympathy for the guy either.

So to sum it up, we're supposed to feel empathy towards someone who can't stop eating all the time nor do any exercise to control their weight, but not to a person who is being setup for a deception and lied to.

In these cases switch the sexes and tell me if you'd still approve a guy who willfully deceived some girl in his appearance. Still feel sorry for the guy and call the girl a *** if she reacted like the guy did in the previous scenario?

(Didn't watch the video, just going by this ridiculous conversation.)
That doesn't sum anything up lol...

Switch the sexes all you like... if the guy showed up and had lied about his appearance and she was a douche to him because of it then you would get the same reaction.

The conversation has been more about the reason for the reaction being what it is. Why do you have to be mean to someone because they lied to you. Why can't you address it or just walk away and move on?

Why am I not allowed to get angry at the fact that I was lied to?
Be angry all you like. Why do you feel the need to be a *** about it? It's not necassary and then you're just worse than the person that lied to you in some cases.

Why do I feel the need to be a ***?

Why isn't it considered "being a ***" to lie to someone and completely waste their time?
It *is* considered "being a ***" to lie to someone.
It *isn't* considered justification for as bad (or worse) behavior.

It's just staggering to me sometimes the amount of people that think it's okay to treat someone like dog ***because they're not physically attractive to them.

And looks do play too big of a role in our culture. If you talk to someone online but have never seen a picture of them, you connect in every way, you share a sense of humor, same hobbies, etc.

And then you meet and you find that person physically unattractive...for so many people, that's it. That's a deal breaker.

But if they're attractive, but instead have some other "flaw" when it comes to compatibility -- even if it's major -- for so many people they can "see past" that because they give you a ***/get you wet.

I fail to comprehend this mindset.
They aren't mad cause she's ugly, they're mad cause she LIED to them.

I've tried to make a relationship work with a girl I didn't really find very attractive but was fun to hang out with, it just doesn't work.

Women (and I imagine men as well) like to feel like they are physically attractive to their partners. It makes us feel good to be physically wanted! If it isn't there or it's faked it feels pretty un-fulfilling. Looks are important bro, not just for your partner but for yourself as well.

Ehhhh... It's a money over looks argument though. You choose money which makes the assumption that you'll actually get it someday.

Keeping the looks from ever being there is so he has to deal with the perceived uggo in order to get said money but if you take the money away too then there's really no point anymore... he'd have to actually "love" her at that point.

Looks are important to some people not all or I should say that everyone has different tastes. there is no exact set standard for beauty that is universal for all people.

Unnatractive to you could mean that she's too skinny too. Too short or tall or fat or whatever.

Physical appearance fades as well. There eventually has to be more there than a physical attraction and worrying about if someone thinks you're a hotty for a relationship to last.

It might be very important to you that someone always thinks you're a hotty but not all that important to someone else.

You think a real man demeans a woman?

A real man is able to act like a *** grown up and not a child. A real man is above that petty *** and can handle himself with a sense of pride.

A real man doesn't mock someone for *** like that because he got his precious little feelings hurt.

God you're a joke Nausi.

Being attractive is the most important thing there is
If you wanna catch the biggest fish in your pond
You have to be as attractive as possible
Make sure to keep your hair spotless and clean
Wash it at least every two weeks
Once every two weeks
And if you see Johnny football hero in the hall
Tell him he played a great game

If your number one fear is your date being fat, you were a terrible person before you ever knew she was fat or not.

Please read into the nuance of that sentence before you flip your ***.

You can be concerned your date is attractive or not. But if "fat" beats out "crazy", "druggie", "homicidal", or a multitude of other concerns that could actually have a serious negative impact on your life, you're a superficial ***.

I'm trying to explain it to you...

Looks don't trump every other last thing, maybe for a very small group of people they do, but they generally don't. They ARE important and this importance is a two way street. You can't really fake attraction and people BOTH want to be attracted to someone and feel attractive to someone.

If you felt unattractive to your wife, you would be miserable. If your wife felt unattractive to you she would feel miserable. If you thought your wife was completely unattractive you'd be miserable, and if your wife found you completely unattractive she would be miserable.

People have a biological need to feel physically desired by their partners.

Right, real men sit there and get demeaned by women and don't say a word. They're suppose to just let women be *** to them and not say a word.

You do know that not demeaning women doesn't equate to them demeaning or emasculating you, right?

Maybe we should be clear on this before we go a step further.

Because if "putting women in their place" is so vital to your manhood that not doing so equates to what you described...

...

Well, I'm just not going to finish that thought for the sake of civility.

Demeaned by a woman? She lied to you about being fat. The lie was exposed. It's not demeaning.

A real man would walk away in that situation and not stopp to the same level.

What you're referring to is a little ***. (just so you don't misunderstand or try to turn it around. the little *** is the guy in this topic that you describe)

I said it's okay for it to be a consideration.

But if it's your primary consideration over a multitude of other factors (such as those described), you're walk feminine hygiene product.
