I have to ask... would you eat this? I've heard of friends saying they tried a version of this at the State Fair a few times and that it really was good, but I'm not sure I could go through with it.

Krispy Kreme Double Cheeseburger Why would a doughnut place have hamburgers in the first place?
Also, eww. Reminds me of the boondocks

It's like eating your dessert before your main meal - I don't think I can do it. ![]() EDIT: I'd eat one... but where's the bacon? Wow, and I thought the KFC Double Down burger was bad...
I loved the double down except for the ones that would fall apart. sad day.

Naw, but seriously, I've eaten at KFC many times and I've never seen this item. I guess I need blindna! Have anyone of you had a Swensons burger? Their patties are seasoned with a hint of brown sugar I believe. Thats about as sweet as I will get with a burger and its a real treat.
Def worth a trip to little ole northeast ohio lol. that is soo grose tried it and hated it. My homemade is wayyy better =D with 3 cheese
If it could fit in my damn mouth when I take a bite I'd like it, but I gotta work at an angle...

The Best Food Trainwreck I've ever had was a local contraption called the 8AM Heart Attack. French Toast encapsulates two sausage patties, two eggs, two squares of mild cheddar, and four slices of bacon. All this touched with just the lightest hint of maple syrup and powdered sugar, creating a meal that causes one's body to attempt a force shut-down. It's antithetical in its purpose as a breakfast item since the level of lethargy you experience upon consumption (And a few hours thereafter) ruins your capability as a productive human. I'd destroy that thing with the quickness

Disgusting. I hate sweet and savory, am not a huge fan of donuts, and cannot see this possibly working.
Ridiculous, maybe. But still probably one of the healthiest sandwiches you can get in a fast food place. Beats the hell out of those bread boats with lettuce on that you get in a Subway.
Are you still on about that?
Until people stop arguing with me, yup. :)

The Local Hunny's does them here, but if you're not in Southern California obviously you'll have a hard time with any more detail. (I'm sure other places do the same thing with different local names, hell, the McGridle form Mcdonald's is thematically close) That's sort of the definition of closed-mindedness, but I'm not going to turn this into a P&R nightmare. Instead, I'll admit that Subway really isn't as healthy as they make themselves out to be, and that greaseball from KFC isn't any better.
Buuuuut, sometimes it doesn't hurt to try something new and completely idiotic from time to time. I'd give it a shot. Carpe diem and all that. |
