Windower Help ;;

i was trying to live stream and my windower crashed so while i was reloading i added a few plugins cause i just reinstalled ffxi 3 days ago anyway when i did this windower crashed and since then i cannot get windower to get past 2 seconds and it crashes from clicking on my windower icon on desktop


i have unistalled windower then deleted the remaining folders

and any time i goto windower.net its no longer there

For what it's worth i have the same problem. i'm hoping they come back up soon so i can redownload.

did this just happen to u?

i really dont wanna play w/o spellcast...

no body has an opinion on what to do??

Sorry, can't help. the installer i have for windower 4 doesn't help, just results in the same crash, before it can even download the hook. I'm waiting for their DNS situation to be resolved, in the hopes that i can download a new, uncorrupted installer.

For what it's worth i found a direct link to their dev build that works:
http://update.windower.net/dev/Windower.exe

i was able to install from there and get back up and running. It is the dev build though, and etc. etc.

Windower's server's DNS got messed up somehow last night and just got fixed. It'll take a little bit before it propagates through all the tubes of the internet and fully restores itself.
