The Supremes tackle birth control
You know, the topic was presented in the least bait-y way it could be. Then the usual threadshitters take it upon themselves to walk in, take a dump, then do their usual victim schtick. It's really annoying and has made P&R just intolerable lately.

Believe it was stomped out because it was immoral to sterilize someone who asked for it to happen voluntarily or something. We haven't even gotten to the Catholic people opting out of birth control because of religion part yet.
I find it funny that topics of conversation that are obviously uncomfortable for certain posters illicit "Oh look... a trollbait thread".
Same posters always post a knee jerk reaction before actually reading the OP and article associated to it. But then again, that would require independent thought to actually read subject matter that doesn't reflect ones personal opinion instead of automatically shunning it. fonewear said: » We haven't even gotten to the Catholic people opting out of birth control because of religion part yet. Catholics are probably the #1 users of birth control... Gentle reminder that christians take their morals from a god that drowns babies because he got mad.

From wiki, take that as you will. Wikipedia said: Phenoxybenzamine has long been known to block ejaculation without affecting semen quality or ability to achieve orgasm, which could make it an effective male contraceptive. This effect is completely reversible, and is believed to be the result of alpha-1 adrenoceptor blockade in the longitudinal muscles of the vas deferens. As of 2008, research was underway to identify possible drug candidates that share this effect but act specifically on the reproductive tract, unlike phenoxybenzamine. I'm a guy, I don't have the girly parts to have an abortion.
BTW, god is god right? So he can have cake after drowning babies even though they haven't been invented yet? Was that covered in the bible somewhere? Should have had some cake first to cool his temper. Your knowledge of religion is beyond anyone I've ever come across on a video game forum. Please continue.

And these two forum shitters are accusing villainous "liberals" of being mindless followers who need to have their opinion come down upon an edict. I think they're main problem is they vastly underestimate the intelligence of many posters and lurkers. never mind the obvious fact that anything villainous goes against the grain. fonewear said: » Your knowledge of religion is beyond anyone I've ever come across on a video game forum. And it basically was because he/she/it was angry at us for sinning. Sophie Tilgung said: » Pretty sure he/she/it drowned a lot more than just babies. :| And it basically was because he/she/it was angry at us for sinning. That is a stereotype of religious people. Not all people that are Christians think that. I'm sure some due but no one I know of personally. Asura.Kingnobody said: » Yay, another Chanti troll thread! Hobby Lobby's argument seems so tenuous that I'm not even sure how this made it all the way to SCOTUS. On the other hand, it's another way to expand corporate rights so I guess there's my answer. fonewear said: » Glad I'm told what to think by liberals. It is nice not having to have an opinion.... I don't know a thread about birth control brings out the worst in people. But yea nothing good can come from this.
However if we all agreed what would we talk about the weather ? I'm aware he drowned more than just babies. I'm just bringing it up because I know how much our conservative friends here love to claim that they love babies when it's pretty obvious that they don't.

Nice to hear the Christian god is keeping the good work up. In the Bible, God flooded everything for 40 days and night. Lots of people and animals were drowned. Purely because God was angry that we used our free will, that we were given, to do what we wanted.
The Bible is Christianity's only physical connection to their deity. It 'documents' Gods deeds. You don't get to pick and choose what aspects of God from the Bible you want to worship and ignore the rest. I can feel the love here wait that isn't love that is something opposite of love.
I wish I were surprised that besides a few plusses, no one has responded to my post about an extremely viable and effective means of birth control that isn't in use for some stupid invalid reason.
Oh I have nothing but love for you fone, but not the kind of love that god has for babies.

I'm not a woman so my opinion isn't valid. I'm a man I belong in the tool shed or fixing cars or some other stereotype. You can't bring reason and fact to a troll thread. Bismarck.Ihina said: » I'm aware he drowned more than just babies. Only if you opinion is against it while not having problems with old impotent men having coverage so they have a chance at getting laid.
I do enjoy women telling me what to do though. It makes life easier.
I'm against people reproducing in general. So I couldn't be anti birth control. |
