Ok so my leathercraft is lvl 20 now and im going to kill bugards in either Lufaise medows 39% drop off bugards or Misareaux coast where on wiki the skins have ???% drop, i would prefer to go to Mis coast incase odqan is up for my Bravo sub (anyone know if i could solo him THF57/DNC28? if not ill get ls help >.<).
So anyway just asking if skins are just as good to get at the coast if any previous leathercraft skillers remember and how hard odqan is!

hmm, if its not a hard hitter i should find it easier than /nin unless i need shadows to not get hit at all, and i dont hve dancing edge yet :/
I have always found that skins drop better at miseraux coast myself.
As far as Oqdan I have only fought him as a 75 so not alot of help there

Does anyone know if there is a symbol that comes up for foggy weather or do u have to guess? and if i get a HighQ skin (which i cant use for synth) does that cancel out getting a nq skin from same mob?
no symbol like other weather bonuses. best bet is to check the weather NPC in tavnazia. the sky turns a distinct shade of gray when it's "foggy". it also can't be foggy when there is another weather up, (thunder, rain, wind, etc) and typically only occurs between ~01:00-08:00. good luck. that NM is the bane of my thf's existence. 0/131

Thanks alot fort his very handy info! and owch 0/131... bravo sub is almost 400k on my server now :/ well thf/dnc has alot more survivability than thf/nin i suppose, guess ill give it a shot
You can get both HQ and NQ skins off same mob so no worry about them cancelling the other out

Btw only the bugards in the coast drop HQ skins so I'd always prefer to go there if you are only farming.

i read that he like spawns 8 times but only one if the real one that drops oor something /shrug
Yeah, Padfoot is odd. He spawns in multiples of himself, but only one is real. Even if you do get the "real" one (which you have no indictation of which it is), the real one only has a *chance* to drop the Astral Earring. That being said, nobody will every truly know if the real padfoot is or is not a 100% drop...because how will you know if you got a fake if he doesn't drop? You can't.

He will always drop either the Assailants ring or the Astral earring but not both. Once the real one drops, the unclaimed ones will depop!
So you know you have the Real on cos a drop is 100% guaranteed.

yes, 5 different locations on the map at the same time. Gilsellers have this NM and megalobugard on lockdown on asura.... its not even worth putting in the time to camp it. The repop is 21-24hr and it works in 30min windows like kings. So it can pop 21, 21:30, 22:00 after repop and so-on, on the dot, if you have exact ToD of the real pop the day before. heheh.
Padfoot is nice if you the only one with ToD.
