New Augment results
i got a question, the people who are augmenting the lower level equipment e.g. nereid ring with the +3 magic acc. are you guys augmenting at sky/valley of sorrows or are you just augmenting at the lower level NM's
I heard a rumour that if you're augmenting a piece of level 60 gear, then there's no point doing an NM higher than that level. Hope that makes sense, but at this stage it's still just a rumour, and I think most people would rather spend the few extra tabs to pop the highest level NM's just in case.

Pretty sexy for those DRK weapon skills that take in a little INT mods as well. Other than that, looks like no big loss. As far as I'm concerned anything that doesn't reduce a primary stat the gear already contains is a decent aug result >.>

idk I've heard certain nms tend to give certain stats more often and such...Like we almost never saw anything but resist or +base stats on the lvl 50 and lower ones. Would make sense you have higher potential reward from higher nm in some ways... however getting the nicer augments on low lvl stuff would be kinda crazy. My guess for balance would be certain lvl tier items can only get certain stats and certain amount to them... and then the particular zone and anywhere from 0 to 1 billion unknown factors determine what type of stats specifically.

Yeh pretty sure that's an ACP final fight combo. I've seen the exact same ring before except for the -enmity I think.
yeh it was from acp fights as were most of the rest, the dusk was from sky NM. i have also lost a cerb mantle and a harmonias torque due to the NM's in sky and VoS having enstun and enparalyze ;; it really is russian roulette.

What were you soloing?
duo PLD/DNC and DNC/NIN at VoS when it had enparalyze and it proc-ed every single hit, and THF/NIN and DNC/NIN at sky when it had enstun which also proc-ed every hit. lesson learned tho i wont attempt anything that costs over 100k with less than 3 people now just to be safe.
Just augmented an astril ring. Before anyone says im stupid for doing so, the rings and a hauby where given to me by a friend who passed away last year from cancer, so ill never part with these items. Aumenting helps me make sure ill always have them, lol. Fought Kulili in Xarcabard on lighstday with a Waxing Crescent 24%. Incase anyone was wondering. Stats where fail. HP+3 MP-3 Attk+1. Guess ok for Blu and RDM at lower lvls. Other than that, fail.
i guess +1 attack on hauby is better than +0 attack
i think he was talking about the astral ring
im wondering if anyone has tried quick belt? i seen that warwolf belt earlier with +3 haste. maybe thats a possibility on all waist items for that NM? would be great having a quick belt with that extra 3% haste :)

I have a friend solos the sky one pretty easy... just like fighting despot he says kinda except ALOT less hp.
yeah, i was talking about astril ring. Hauby is in the next few days. Need to get tabs up and get hauby, and the other ring done. Ill post results here.

What did you get on mantle? Seems to me its prone to HP+
