that gendawa is nice imo, shaves off 43ish delay, putting it under 500, and nice Ratk Str+

Yea but the main point of getting a Fay Gendawa in my opinion is to bust out larger WS numbers with STR, R.ATK, and WS% DMG and to make a 5 hit build. With -% delay the TP per hit goes down and makes you require more STP gear.

  two augments I did tonight, yay better bow, but hmm not sure about the axe. From what I saw, double attack +2 not that common, but i sacraficed str stats...

For the most part I think magic crit hit rate is a steaming pile of crap, since you have no idea when it's going to go off. But that weskit will make for some really nice screenshot numbers.

Not really, blm's work a lot differently than melee. Most of the time you know how much HP the mob you're fighting has, so you know that you need one AMII a TIV and a TIII to kill it (or whatever). If you get a random magic crit proc on any of those spells, it generally won't allow you to kill it with any less MP. If you're fighting a mega boss though, then yeah, it's a nice bonus, but doesn't have nearly as much use as melee crit hit rate.

And knowing BLM remove a large chuck of HP every nuke, any critical on the killing blow = enjoy your waste, while it's way less important for melee since they do not kill VT/IT in 3 hits like BLMs does.
