As for Shantotto II, wow, I couldn't be more pleased. My targets were the Indomitable Faaz, these are VT. She only uses tier I elemental spells and, as a result, never misses a beat when she has the TP to SC with me or anyone in the party. She'll always hold TP until someone in the party opens a SC.

Nukes for about 1.5-1.8K, WSs were doing 1-2K with 2-3K Light or Dark SC followed by two MB spells, each doing 6-7K each. Even her auto-attacks were doing around 600~ or so. And, because everything she does is considered magic damage, she's deadly accurate.

Two downsides I found were 1) she's a little squishy and 2) she doesn't seem to care what element she uses to nuke . She'll happily nuke away on a target that is absorbing all the damage she's doing.

So, as long as you're using a good tank, like Amchuchu, and not fighting things like Panopts, she's a force to be reckoned with.

She's far and away the best DD trust out of all physical AND magical DD for times when all you care about is brute force. She's a totally game changing Trust. If only all the other DD Trusts performed half as good as her.

For a healer, I like Karaha or Mihli, depending on the rest of the trust group you set up.

No Quarter: Light/Distortion
Alabaster Burst: Distortion/Detonation
Null Field: Fusion/Transfixion

And for Iroha II:

Iroha 1 might have the same properties if she uses the same WSes, but I haven't done any testing with her to check for sure.

Shantotto II is my new favorite trust on dnc. She will constantly magic burst skilchains for like 6-7k a pop (9k on magic crits). She easily deals around 30k+ off double darkness spam.

-Doctors Orders can close darkness and make double darkness similar to Rudra's Storm.

With Ark Angels now in the lineup I wish we could have got the Northland expedition trusts.

Raogrimm: War/drk, uses Sagasinger for melee weapon

Cornelia: mnk/pld, tank AI?, would use cover if Raogrimm gets enmity

Yow Rabntah: rng, behaves like all rng trust.

Iru-Kuiru: whm or whm/sch? casts all cures, all -nas, and barspells depending on the mob.

Francmage: war/pld or pld/war

Ulrich: pure war, berserk style with sword.

Would all have light dynamis glow effect, getting them would need wins for each zone...very easy to get for most players

Yoran has gone charging out in front on Phoenix this week. Possibly due to a load of people switching over to Ayame's unity for the bottom place bonus.

Not that Ayame has stayed bottom with everyone swapping to her. She's up to 6th place lol.

Good lord Shantotto II is indeed crazy good.

Reading the posts about her here I popped back to town to pick her up and go back out and play with her a bit whilst cp-ing.

She's taken a minute off my Trizek band usage time single handedly.
On BLU with 400 or so job points now I had a Trizek charge down to 7 minutes or so. Which I was perfectly happy with to just bum job points up slowly. I just want BLU to 550 before the campaign ends on Friday.

With Shantotto out as the 'spare' character of my 5 trusts I'm down to 6 minutes now. Which is a decent 15%+ reduction just for replacing one trust with another.

I've put Apururu back in as my healer. Taking Ayame as my unity leader wasn't worth it anyway because everyone did the same as I said above. So I wasn't even getting more than an extra % or two out of being in her unity. Which was probably lost in time by having to resummon Mihli the odd time.

So now for my cp-ing it goes -
Kupofried - bonerz CP
Qultada - more bonerz CP. When he's not busy busting Chaos Rolls. And thus taking 6 mobs to actually get a Corsair's Roll on me.
Zeid II - Stunner of special moves. He's ok at it. Could be better. But he does decent damage the odd time he has TP.
Shantotto II - 'spare' slot for whoever takes my fancy. The mobs are getting TP moves off WAY less since I've used her because they're dying faster. Which is only for maybe 100 mobs now. So time will tell me more.
Apururu - Healer.

I think this be a good idea, however...you mention the Ark Angels as Trust magic? How does one learn this amazing bit?

There are a bunch of characters that wouldn't surprise me if they popped up as trusts:

- Cornelia (the younger one)
- Louverance (the fake one)
- Rochefogne
- Kagetora
- Raubahn
- Ghatsad
- Azima [S] (notice how we've seen a variety of single element specialist trusts)
- Schultz
- Ygnas
- Fremilla
- Octavien

They're in the dat files, but not released yet.

How do you get those?

So I'm assuming all the II versions of old trusts are different/more powerful?

Another that'd be nice would be Oggbi he would have a "drunk fists" stance that would ether be hundred fists speed, or slow speed and decent acc but hits really hard when the hit lands. (would benefit greatly from acc brd songs/cor rolls if he gets in slow mode with drunk fists, and haste to bring it back to normal melee speed or faster...though that'd be OP to be faster lol)

And Oggbi would have synergy with Cornelia too

Maby we get them from Christmas event?

I hope AA HM becomes a decent Tank. Utsusemi: San and Provoke would be nice. Just hope he'd be able to hold hate better than Gessho.

Definitely would like Raubahn trust, as well as Schultz. If I got Octavien, I'd probably summon him just to slap him around, he's kind of a ***.

Should I use the pell to get Brygid or Aueauhat?

If this is anything to go on, it looks like he uses Innin and Berserk, some debuff Ninjutsu, and then just DPSes. EV is the tank. So no blink tank I think :/

How long, after switching unities, do you have to wait to summon leader?

You must do some RoE in the new unity to raise your personal rank. Only then you call summon your new unity trust. It doesn't take too many objective.
