I think I caused some confusion with my post. Guildwork premium members are flagged automatically by simply comparing verified characters on guildwork and ffxiah. So there is no need to message me. However if you donated, you will have to message me.

I ran it by him awhile ago and he said it was fine. I work with him on Guildwork as a junior developer. GW premium members already get AH history and notifications supplied by FFXIAH via cooperating apis between our systems.

Ads still cover expenses. I cut them in half in our last server migration. As traffic decreases, our server needs do as well so I will take advantage of that. I've learned advertising follows the health of the overall economy. For example if traffic stays the same, revenue can still fluctuate.

Do these benefits last while our premium account stays intact? Or do they persist when it runs out?
Reason I ask is because I've quit ffxi, and guildwork premium (at the moment) offers no benefits to ffxiv players, so I've no reason to keep it going for now.

They do not persist once they run out. I hope we can get some FFXIV features that are worth the premium soon. :)

ironic. This is the one site i never minded ads on. There location is such that its doesn't interfere with what im trying to do. While i still notice them, they are not pop ups or in the way. Ive never had a problem with them.
I'm with Godofgods; never had any issues with the ads, and I'm glad they help with most of the expenses to keep the site going. Great job Scragg and everyone else who has a part in maintaining this awesome ffxi resource!!
