No tips after dinner for gays!
You are correct that is a fine line between super nice and *** I guess you have to have the right personality to be a waiter/waitress.
I suspect they're arguing that tipping shouldn't be mandatory, not saying that you should leave a server to starve on $15 pay per night. That's certainly my position, anyhow. I eat out infrequently enough when I'm paying about 5x as much as what it'd cost me to make something identical at home, much less to throw another several dollars on because some git ran it from the kitchen to me and back. But I still tip like a drunken sailor because I've worked in restaurants before.
This is why I couldn't go to Hooters. No matter how big her *** are they don't make up for bad service or being fake.
Best service is at Hooters, hands down.
I live right next to a Hooters, never gone in tho lol.

The comparison isn't about the trophies and the tipping, since you can also receive different sizes and levels of participation awards. The point I'm making with the comparison is the entitlement that comes from expecting rewards, versus earning them. I don't have any trouble being objective when there are *** in my face.
Fun story about Hooters: went there when I was 18 with a bunch of friends. There were at least a dozen of us, male and female, gay, straight, and bi. We all cross-dressed. The girls had no idea how to react to us, the dirty old men at the bar were pretty indiscriminate ('cause who doesn't like seeing a boney 18-year-old with scraggly facial hair dressed up like Britney Spears from "Oops, I Did It Again"?). We tipped well just because we knew it was the first time in years that the neurons north of the big *** had fired.
My friend is a lesbian physics major and works at Hooters because it's good money, lol.

Damn straight God gave you big *** for a reason. lol I don't believe in destiny but if it is your first name you should work at Hooters/ Strip club. I'm more of a bar person so going out to eat for me involves drinking and nothing else.

If you see it as a reward then don't eat out or stick to the drive-through. It's called tip for a reason and this from a guy who would empty his wallet for those people who fundraise on the street if I don't control myself. If the eating place wants to make beers 7 instead of 5 to cover wait staff wages fine but guilting customers into paying your employees is scumbag material. Either raise base prices, do more with less workers or fold. That said I usually tip whenever I'm out but only if the person is nice which is pretty easy when I'm a customer cause I'm thanking everyone reflexively. fonewear said: » I'm more of a bar person so going out to eat for me involves drinking and nothing else. Unfortunately Big Wangs ISN'T the gay counterpart of Hooters! Lol Big Wangs and Hotwings what more can a guy ask for lol The inside is usually straight up bar setting the outside is snazzy...

My biggest pet peeve is when the kitchen messes up..over cooked, under cooked etc and the costumer doesn't tip because of that. I laugh at when the costumer eats all their food and complains about it...or complains about the day after.
But I think we can all agree on that if the service is good-outstanding you should tip. If the service is poor it is up to you rather you want to tip or not. I mean if they don't care at all for working for their tip, so why should you care about helping them out. If prices go up people go away and if o away, well there is a long list of it, but tipping is a sticky semen of a glue. Which do you think is the better employee and a better person to take care of people? The person who receives a static wage near $8 or the person receive about three who has to work to earn more than that an hour? Don't say both because I don't want to get into that. This is the excuse of every business ever and along with it is the tactic of dumping surprise costs on a consumer. Bad enough some places tack on service charges upwards of 30% and that's before tips? ***, at times the nickel and diming is more than my food and drink. Why did I come here again? Oh right for reheated ***. How a business owner wants to pay workers is up to them but relying on tips to float your workers an attempt to offset costs is scumbaggish. Pay your workers a decent wage even if it means less people and tips are bonus. I got trained with stop watches: Tables had to be greated in under 3 minutes from being seated. Drinks on table in 5 minutes. Food 15to 25 minutes from order. Food check in 10 minutes. Food check in 15 minutes. Etc...if we were off by even a minute our managers were on our ***. Edit: ill never go back to waiting tables so stressful. People shouldn't be so critical of a waiter until they understand exactly how the kitchen and restaurant function |
