My SC only seems to break in the new SoA areas...seems fine in old areas.

My Spellcast and LuaCore both crashed last night when I would type anything in party chat. When reloaded, they worked fine until I type anything in party chat.

Being in a party of 3 or more total players in the same area also gives the OutgoingText method error. I can make a party with my dualbox character and have no problems (in pre-SoA areas), but adding a single friend to the mix throws it all off whether I'm in a Seekers zone or not. If either my friend or one of my characters moves to a different zone, I can successfully reload and continue using Spellcast in both instances of the game.

I'm always amused that the windower team is able to fix so many things in just 1 or 2 days--after SE spends an entire month or more messing stuff up. XD

Spellcast was working great for me up until I stepped in to abyssea. I had spent two hours in dynamis, hourish for einherjar, then go to Uleguerand, say "Wb" and instant error and crash.

Luacore kept working for awhile after that, until I mentioned how odd it was for luacore to still work. Then it crashed.

I am glad the team is actually trying to work on this at least. Has shown me how much I relied on some of this stuff for so long...

Timers still broken (or not functioning properly) for bard songs. Has anyone found a workaround for this?

You can play...without it! :O It kinda sucks now without it though but that's all I got. My mule freaking crashing just idling at a crag now, can't even keep him logged in with windower on.

Also seems to work fine in delve instances... I was on bard and it was forever crashing in Adoulin/Morimar, but I go into Cirdas_U and reloaded it, and it stays working for the entire delve run. XD

Like Arcto have said, I have also find Timers aren't displaying the correct song durations.

What, you crash it outside and then reload inside and it works? Or don't let it autoload and only load it once inside frac or what? Whenever I reloaded it outside then next time it does anything it would just crash whole game for me so I figured reloading as soon as we enter would not be a smart move on my part

I crash and leave it broken outside and reloaded it upon entering~ The game doesn't crash when I reload (only hangs for like 1-2s) so it wasn't too big of a risk. But yes it seems to stay on if I reload inside :3

When it crashes it doesn't auto load for me so I'm not sure about the auto load thing

Some inspiration came upon Mafai in a dream and there will likely be a fix for this issue later today. It appears to be caused by zoning into an area that another party member is in with that party member out of visible range.

The spellcast issue is so random atm had it constantly crash then work all night. I am on the older windower guess finally time to move to the latest version. Basically it almost seem if I unload all my plugins after I logged in and then reload then it worked fine for me. But need to test it more than I did last night.

Someone else already mentioned that SC issues seem to be party/alliance related. This makes sense, everything works when I'm soloing but as soon as I join a party everything crashes randomly, luacore aswell. Is there any temporary fix for SC? ie change some lines, status, items name... anything lol

I have used Spellcast w/o any problema killin Muyingwa in Ceizak with a full Alliance, but it breaks in Foret....So it doesnt makes sense to me and many other ppl...
I got problems keepin SC up into the town and Foret for now, not tested in Yorcia and Marjami. But it works for me in Ceiza and Morimar.
And my Blinkmenot crash each time changed zone area.

Rerun the launcher to get the update Byrth mentioned. Most (all?) of what you guys are talking about should be covered by this fix.

Edit: Rerun the launcher again if you did it before this edit, sorry. Luacore, Blinkmenot and Spellcast are all updated.

I'm hearing the fish botters are broken to. Something about them not recognizing equipped rods and bait.

Timers still not quite right. On bard it's recognizing troubadour and nightingale and extended the duration accordingly but it's not taking in account of the instrument effect.

for e.g. my Ballad +5 is getting a 2 min timer without JAs, when it actually last quite a lot longer than that :3

Spellcast and battlemod are working for me now (so far!) Much appreciated and thanks for the hard work!

Timers is borked for brd, unless there's some brand new settings file I don't know about.

It's counting songs as base duration only and not including any + duration gear. So, normal songs are listed as 2 minutes, and JA songs only listed as 4. This is after the latest update that I *just* downloaded.

Ps: thanks for fixing stuff... you never notice how much you come to rely on these things and how much they enhance your gameplay till they're gone =(

Edit: Also this probably isn't the right place to ask, but when I posted in RQT it pretty much got overlooked. Is there a way to make timers not track certain spells/jas?

Code
<blacklistMode>true</blacklistMode>
        <whitelistMode>false</whitelistMode>
        <recastList></recastList>
        <buffList>Protect*|Reraise|Shell*|Pianissimo|Composure|Chi Blast</buffList>

I think that's all you need, obviously replace whichever buff you want in the bufflist section. That section is at the top of my xml but I'm not sure if area really matters.

Really glad these issues were apparently fixed. It was one thing not having access to xmls, but I really missed the whole shorthand thing as well.
Tried ///warp around 10 times before I remembered that was even a part of spellcast.

Oohh, neat. Thank you! Sorry for the derpy question, but what xml did you put these in? >_>

Edit: Nvm, figured it out. Wouldn't stop tracking till that was posted in the <global> tags.
