Actually, I was referring to taking everything that is given to you. Kindof like kneeling down while the guy in front of you unzips his fly.

Since you guys seem to take everything MSM gives you.

Actually you can blame this war on Bush because Bush created the Bush Doctrine which is basically "Haven't quite messed with us yet? We'll save 'Merica by messing with them first"

I blame Cheney as much as Bush but they left a legacy of fear, hype, and corruption.

Besides Obama's barely even a left winger. If you think otherwise you're part of the brainwashy Right Wing News circuit. Why is the news circuit right wing? BECAUSE THEY ARE CORPORATIONS AND THEY LEAN TOWARDS LOWER TAXES AND HIGHER STOCK PRICES!

The right loves to be victimized so they take these center right news corporations and call them left wing tyrants. Same with Obama. Obama does Mitt Romney's Health Care Plan? Well Chuck Grassley went from it's just like car insurance everyone should have a mandate to get healthcare... to THIS IS TYRANNY!

I voted for Jill Stein. I'm not a brainless Obamacrat, I'm not a religious authoritarian Republican. A pox on both parties yes, but if you think that the Neocons have ANYTHING to do with the constant wars and killings... >_> Then go grab your blankey and keep a nightlight on and tell us when you start eating solid foods.
And here is another person who needs a new pair of kneepads! He takes it from other sources, those who are probably outside of the US and would like to see America fall.

MSM - Mainstream Media... You realize this makes you sound like a conspiracy nut?

I don't take anything I hear at face value, and I tend to get my news from sources like NPR, BBC, HP, etc. Since you all seem to be so fed up with biased news coverage, why do you gravitate toward things like Fox News?

Actually I can blame every problem in the Mideast, other than Israel, on Bush.

You can blame anyone one you want... but if you want to get to the root of the problem you have to go back to Kennedy. John Fitzgerald, not bobby or teddy

You sound very familiar Asura.Kingnobody, are you Korpg?

In reference to the subject in this topic: I never voted in my life and could care less about anything related to politics, I do however feel with the innocent civilians that being massacred because they were caught in the crossfire in any given country.

They why would you title this thread the way you did if you don't care about politics. It is blatantly antagonistic. You did not even mention the innocent civilians that you claim this is about. Full of crap.

Who?

Anyway, what do you want the US to do? Invade to liberate the people?

We tried that. Didn't go so well.

I hate to mention this but in the worldview prevalent there those are NOT Assad's own people. His people are Alawites. And they are cheering him on.

Prescott is a dirty sob.

Business plot, oh how ye is ignored.

information is never subjective, how one perceives it is.

It's OK to be crazy and not be able to tell the difference between reality and fantasy. FOX has an entire base that can't tell the difference.

It takes you only one sentence to contradict yourself and you don't even understand the word "information".

How about the entire opening post is contradictory to generally available information?

Also, half the posts in this thread are ad hominem.

I don't need sources to dismiss outrageous claims. You do need sources to make them.

And the burden of proof isn't really on me. I haven't been putting forth claims about specific people that have been flat out wrong.

Information is nothing more than data, there is no subjectivity.

Quick guide for the difference between objective and subjective.

Information (objective)
The temperature is 84 degrees f.

Opinion (subjective)
It's hot

I'm sorry but this has to be the most blatant example of selective perception I've ever seen. There are plenty of subjective things about society, relationships, politics, etc, but there is nothing subjective about reality.

these people get "reality" and personal reality mixed up a lot, and think the latter holds the same as the former.

I don't even like the idea of a personal reality. You can have your own opinions, but way too many people use terms like personal reality to justify ignoring concrete facts.

Unless you are witnessing and collecting this "data" on your own you are relying on other parties to "inform" you of how they perceived things. It is inherently subjective. You just pick who you trust if you like what they have to say and if they backup your preconceived notions.

Yeah I'm sure you've all done your personal fact checking in regards to the violence in Syria. You rely on "information" that news sources provide.
