Think I found a way around it. Change your Real name in your profile, first name to the desired screen name, last name to.. anything. "None" is what I went with. Since they changed the name, it seems like MSN/WL IM has went to utter ***. I've been hacked, spammed, and now I can't use an alias, not everyone likes their name being displayed, and as I saw one person complain, you may have 35 'John's or 'Marie's on your contacts and won't know who the *** you're talking to if someone changes their pic/non-RL pic.
