Because when she's out of school and has a masters degree, her job will probably be more important and make us more money (in theory, but probably not) so it'd make sense to move to where she gets paid more, and then I just get an office job and get paid a decent amount to support us/extra spending money.

With a precise degree like that you can't just say i want to work in X city/state.
