TH increases the chance of an item dropping from the said mob. All items, not just 'rare' ones. If something ALWAYS drops from Mee Deggi/Quu Domi, TH isn't doing a thing, since something WILL drop. Only difference is it's either one item or the other.
I dismiss all claims about treasure hunter and just gon the notion that its better to have it than not to have it if your going to go for drops, as there are so many hundreds of pages of threads arguing the rules of TH, not once has any of them ever been proved.

Call it a placebo effect if you will, I don't know if and how it increases my chances, but having treasure hunter makes me think I'm at an advantage compared to if I didn't.
I don't see how TH would logically effect a 100% drop with multiple items of the 100%. Someone could actually WANT the impact knuckles or sword. Deciding which item is superior isn't something SE would do.
That being said, I don't believe in TH at all. I've seen more ***drop with TH3 thfs than my TH4 ever did. I believe all TH is, is text on an item, I don't truly think they ever did code for TH, just put the text on items to give ppl a reason to let thfs in endgame. They sure as hell wouldn't be invited otherwise lol. BST/THF would be in the same category.

The proof that it effects all drops is painfully obvious - ***items like crystals even start to drop like candy when you have TH present.
It makes NO sense that it would effect a 100% drop. At all. There's no 'speculation' about it. It's common sense.
Only speculation is how much it actually increases drops. Of course everyone says TH is a lie, but we all know damn well it helps, even a small bit.

The sword NPCs for roughly 4k. I made almost 200k in a couple days going 0/48 on Quu Domi.

Either way you look at it, TH4 is vastly overrated, since that 7.5% drop rate with TH4 is a 7.25% drop rate with TH3.

Well yes an no, yes that it does help items drop, but beyond that it's a mystery that nobody will ever be able to put into figures.
If I had to take a stab, I'd say that for each TH there is a dice roll so to speak, the outcome of that roll will determine the effect of TH i.e a 6 would significantly increase the chance of a drop compared with a 1, this is then multiplied by a statistic that decides the normal drop rate on an item. Further dice rolls occur for TH2, TH3 and TH4, my belief being that they only come into play if you were to roll a higher number on the following dice i.e if it were a 4 on TH1 it would have to be a 5 on TH2 for it to activate an so forth, with each treasure hunter granting a higher multiplier to the original drop statistic.

What are some rare scrolls that drop off of mobs that I can farm? Only ones that come to mind are Tornado and Carnage Elegy.
