No ***, PS2 was the most amazing machine of its time. Not because it didn't have competition, but because it was great and had the best games ever. The PS2 team actually won over game designers and had them making games for their system, they didn't get ***for PS3.
I've had my PS2 since launch which was what, 2001 or so? And it still works. It had the biggest and best game lineup ever ect.
The fact that PS3 is so hard to code for does not help, we won't be seeing a hidden potential like we did with PS2, they lucked out with it tbh and *** up with PS3. You can't deny that. Whether you think PS3 is good or bad, you can't deny they could have did A LOT better.

It boils down to whether or not you want to be fully immersed (i.e. watching cutscenes 80% of the time), or want to truly have fun with your games. I liked Nintendo games more than Playstation games. I only got a Ps2 for Final Fantasy games. Everything was N64, Gamecube, Gameboy, etc. Never liked many of Ps2 games, same with Ps3.

Him using experience was a bad choice. One of the commercials for uncharted 2 was this dude saying his GF would curl next to him while he plays it because she thought it was a movie.
I do not like heavy rain, it's not a game in my eyes. I get that games are evolving but if I wanted to play real life mystery detective i'd become a cop. If I want to shoot someone in the face and have them fly 30 feet I'll play a console game.
PS3 has few exclusives that play like games. Don't get me wrong I realize this all comes down to opinions, but my opinion is right and yours is wrong.

I will admit a few games went overboard in the playability to expressive storyline ratio, but regardless they were fun to play, and were generally a great game to experience.
If I feel the need to "immerse" myself in gameplay, I have arcade classics and some decent fighting/shooter games.

Console games are expensive as ***, and for that reason I've been much more selective of what games I choose to own. Luckily it's real nit-pickings when it comes to PS3, and since a majority of the multi-console games are available for PC, I don't bother getting any game for a console unless it's exclusive now.
Or if my friends beg me to play online with em.

I had the same problems with any previous Microsoft OS before Vista. I never tried to do anything abnormal so I never noticed any differences.

And it runs great, I like the fact that my PS3 operates as a general media center and runs video codecs that my 360 gets pissed off at.

edit: on the topic of vista, I think it's fine once you turn off a whole bunch of ***.
I had a XP SP3 mod that a friend made that he skinned to look exactly the same as vista without all the useless components of XP.

Heh, well Blu-ray players are much cheaper now that the HD-DVD/Blu ray war is over, and I still figured... If i'm gonna get a blu ray player, I know there'll be at least 5+ games i'll regret not having when they come out. So PS3 it was~

Last time I actually checked was back in like 2006, when Blu-Ray was all new and awesome and PS3 was right there with all the initial releases of all Blu-Ray players. It was cheaper than any other option at the time, I believe. I didn't have an HDTV till this year so i never go to experience it, but I played it on my dads TV all the time and i was ballin with sum good movies.
But having a bluray player doesn't really do much when you pirate everything :P
except for broadcasting in the correct aspect ratio, that's a plus...but 360 does that as well.

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
