Then, you'll have to keep your characters geared, fed, etc. Unless you've got tons of cash(or just play cheap) you'll be farming or buying a lot of gil.
Add in Quest time for things like Utsu:Ni, looking for groups/building groups, leveling time in general, etc.
I believe it would be a waste of money, and waste of time. There are also other games being released, amongst other things.
Really, if you didn't want an opinion, you shouldn't have asked for one?

Not sure if that was to me as well, but yes, just got out of a party actually. xD

Thing is what you see as a waste of time and money is simply part of playing, which I still enjoy doing. Setting up a new account won't be too troublesome. And there is no reason to immediately purchase what I am nowhere near qualifying to use yet.
My galka is already on decent standing ground as far as being able to supply for a new character, as is my current elvaan being 75 COR SAM & MNK.
I don't mind starting from scratch. In fact that is what I intended from the very start. If I was already far along with everyone I wouldn't have considered dual boxing at all.

You're not starting from scratch if you have help, be it from high level characters or friends.
Secondly, why level more than one account? You've got a character that can already do the things that your new characters will end up striving to do. If you enjoy leveling, take up a new job and viola!
Anyway, I've given you my opinion, and most of the reasoning behind it. You can take it or leave it, that's your choice but don't try to argue with it and make excuses against it. That eliminates the purpose of asking opinions in the first place.
If you want validation, get it from somewhere else?

its not so bad..ive taken whm to 75 twice...once on old char n once on this one...i would like to do bst again on a mule but now with level cap rising dont care as much...but it would be so cute to have a taru bst :D

I understand your reasoning, but I just want to make it more clear of what my objective was to begin with which I unfortunately was too vague to mention previously.
I already currently play 4 characters, split among two servers. Each having their own style, name, race, and set of jobs. And I figured with 3/4 being relatively new, I could essentially work them together to have a double progress and expanding my ability to do what would normally take forever to do one at a time.
So rather than logging on one guy, leveling him, doing missions, basically climbing up the progression of playing FFXI, I can fulfill that among the rest of my characters at the same time.

I've taken WAR and PLD to 75 on old account and now, and I must say dual boxing is very nice, but really shines when its Mage and Melee, which is why I want Kyree :/

That's exactly how it'll be with me. I got my main elvaan and tool on my primary account, and I'd put my mithra and tarutaru:
DNC, COR on mithra, WHM, BRD, etc. on taru. I'll be hell of a force once I get the control mechanism down.

Heh I wouldn't trust myself to dual box two positions (especially contrasting ones like tank & healer) in a party. Probably can reel in good money and exp just duoing FoV.
Perhaps once I get the hang of controls I can maintain a DD/healer position in a party once I feel confident enough lol.

For instance, with dual boxing my SAM and her WHM I can duo 1-10rank Sandy, probably Windy, maybe Bastok with job swaps, Sea NMs stuff like that, often do ENMs, sky gods/pops etc

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Kungfu is the LS nutjob, spouting super random things that are usually sexist, until Savvy or Alyria comes into the room. Then he's a classic case of sexual harrassment. Rumaha is also true to the second part; we're wondering about his sexuality though.
Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
