I'm a fan at the reality that there could one day be a virus outbreak that turns people into 'Zombies', and the literature in general.

I'm more inclined to believe the 28 Days theory. A 'rage' virus sounds more plausible than a 'zombie' virus.

Doesn't hurt to be prepared. Weapons aren't perishable like food is compared to all those OMGY2K folks we got to lol at when nothing happened at the turn of the milenia.

They were former humans, infected, bloodthirsty and feasted on other living human's flesh. Sounds like zombies to me; just faster and smarter than your conventional zombie that we all know and love.

No no no, it's not going to be a virus. It's going to be a wonder drug/vaccine created by some sort of evil corporation which will be distributed on a grand scale.

But they died if they were in the sun
or am I thinking of the wrong movie?

Same here.

Hence why the zombie survival guide as helpful as it may seem is just literature. All the lessons originate around shamblers, not runners.

I don't recall them eating each other, just enraged, killing machines. They still were human because in 28 Weeks Later, those kids' infected dad still remembered who they were and he didn't kill them the entire movie.

30 days of night. Pretty badass vampire movie. Although their barbaric behavior certainly gave em a sorta zombie like stigma. Certainly was one of the most bloody vamp films i've seen.

The dad didn't really see the kids, I'm pretty sure he would have killed them if he'd gotten the chance though.

30 days of night was ok, I liked the horror esque feel of it, it did feel like a zombie movie, and was better than any of romero's recent ***fests.

Also anything that would kill a person would kill them. And they all ended up dying of hunger after a short while.

No one that was dead came back to life etc

30 Days of Night = Vicious bloodthirsty vampires assaulting a small alaskan town stuck in a winter of darkness thanks to their hemisphere placement.

28 Days Later = Rage virus making everyone into super-zombies >.>

And with this concept, as long as you've got the ammo, you can survive!

Zombies...it's only a matter of time.

Hell against the rage virus all you need is a decently fortified area. And a couple months of food/water and you win.

Hell it doesn't even have to be great just something that a person with only mild reasoning abilities can't overcome like maybe a wall that you have to climb a rope to get up or something.

Or be on an island since it didn't look like they could swim so well lol

I still like the original Resy Evil film with Mila Jovovich <3

I can't remember a single zombie movie where the zombies floated. I have seen a few where they just walked across on the bottom
