Sweet, finally got a Tiphia Sting lol, for like 50k less then AH price (yeah ..... tried camping the NM if your gonna say why didn't I ... most *** boring thing ever, sat there for 3 god damn hours without a pop)

Camping wasn't bad. Fighting the damn thing was. Constantly healing itself. Eventually had to get one other person to come out and help. We could hold it forever, but never actually keep it below 50%.

that's the other obstacle I didn't wanna deal with either, I was sam/dnc so I could have held it forever, but dunno if I could have taken it down quick enough.


Meh, at least I have it now, so one less piece of equipment I don't have to worry about, next thing I need now is ... hmm ... A foragers I guess >.> (god I should have that already, but ... i'm poor)

How can people be so sure about things?

(i.e. "Oh I know he/she loves me." or
"I can tell he/she has some interest in me because of blah-blah-blah" or
"Oh yeah he/she/they are my friends" etc etc etc.)

Please don't give me any destiny/faith/belief/take-a-chance ***. I want an answer as to how people can be so sure about the things they try. Unless thats too much to ask...then I am sorry for bothering you all.

I typically only say I'm "sure" about things if they are directly related to myself and my actions/thoughts/whatever.

(i.e. "I will take care of my family no matter what.")

Otherwise it's nothing but wishful thinking and optimism. Acknowledging the possibility that things aren't perfect ("Sure, they're my friends. Will they always be there for me no matter what? Probably not.") isn't always just being negative. It's being realistic.

If you 2 houred and then used an i.wing with it low enough, you might have been able to kill it... But yeah, you would've been able to hold it probably indefinitely.

Overconfidence, thats a good one. It more than likely plays a big role on the chances and risks people take. Thanks for your input.

I like this answer, but the thing is I am not even sure about my actions, I just sit there and think about taking these chances and actions but then that question just pops into my head ("How can people be so sure?") and then I curl into a ball in my head and refuse to take any action.

I have no clue why the hell I am like this, I had a pleasant childhood, with the exception of moving back and forth between my parents, which I feel was no real big deal for me; so it couldn't be anything there. ***, sorry if I am turning this into some kind of psychiatry thread, I am just talking, getting it off my chest, whatever...and I am sorry I am hi-jacking the thread.

Well yeah, you're not going to be sure of all of your own actions. I had to actually stop and think of something to use for my example. ***is situational.

After I do something I just sit there and point out all the ways I could've done it better or I will just sit there and bash myself for doing something stupid. Perhaps that is what it is then. I am just stuck in the past? But then what about all the things in the present that bring this whole situation up?
