I has question for people that are uber tech savvy.
I'm looking at these two MacBook Pros - a 15-inch one and a 17-inch one.

They're like completely alike except a few small things that I don't know if it's a big deal in terms of graphic design stuff.
The price difference is minimal so don't make that a factor.

If you are planning on doing graphic design the first think you want is the fastest front side bus, the fastest processor and the most RAM. After that you want a big screen to work on. You can always plug a screen into your laptop.
Typically, laptop graphic cards are kind of weak. If the machine was to be used for graphic design I would want to be able to upgrade my graphics card to keep with the times.

Well according to many sites and some professors, the MacBook is better than an iMac for graphic design.
If I ever need an upgrade of some sort, my dad just buys me a new computer (not to sound all "LOL MAH DAD RAWKS" but he spoils me >.<;).

As far as graphic design goes, Apple is the best.
