Actually last macc testing I looked at suggested day/weather doesn't affect macc... well at least not with obis. Though there is that -10% dmg proc.
The loss of damage doesn't help at all. Just got resisted to 290, too. Doubt it'll be common, but definitely a waste of MP D:
yeah, was just saying. :d I mean about 1 in 7 of my gravity(ies?) landed on the puddings and I had AFv1 body+igqira tiara/lappa+omega ring+spider torque+~3 enfeebling merits. I think my enfeebling magic skill was around 200 or so (w/o the Merits) though so, that might be a biggie. I'll give you exact numbers if you're interested tomorrow going to log for now. I mean you are 30 away from the cap lol. So with those merits and that gear that only puts you at like 11 above the cap... so a non merited capped blm with just like af body and igqira head OR legs probably could enfeeble better lol.
Also HQ staffs help a bit thats like another 10macc from NQ.

I should check the Bazaars more often. Got an Anti-Venom earring for 30k and a 15k Rainbow Cape. Now I can sell Prism and upgrade better slots ^^

Anyone happen to know if they changed Merits? I've got 2 STR Merits, but they're not showing up on BLM o.O

also im gonna be lvlin up ninja and be on my whm on and off (when i need gil <3 telewhoring)
for nin: the only jobs i have that are 18+ (giggity giggity) are whm, blm, sch, smn
i was thinking on doing nin/dnc but krizz's social linkshell said i wouldn't find a party with it only if i went as nin/war (NINJAS AREN'T FREAKING TANKS GOD DAMNIT! They really need to nerf Utsusemi.)
i was thinking on leveling up NIN and DNC at the same time, maybe get dnc to 20 then jump on nin/dnc and get that to 37 then go back on dnc and lvl that up)
or should i do nin/blm or nin/whm lol

NIN/RDM or NIN/BLM is amazing for Elemental Wheel spam. (*Cough* UO *Cough*).
And technically, you could solo as NIN/DNC instead of partying if you have the patience and cash for tools XD
Edit: I think the reason I don't see it is because it shows up as my Stat as opposed to (+2) or whatever.

UO- Under Observation. Extremely Simple BC40 with 2NINs and a RDM. I will never go with a BLU again...
Anywho, SMN burn would require you to skill up your Katana skill. Being a one-handed weapon, it's not that bad, but part of your ability to tank involves DMG.
As for NINs sucking as tank... Depends on what you're tanking. You'd be surprised as to how amazing a well-geared NIN is (Especially NIN/DRK these days).
On a final note, NIN/DNC can pretty much solo everything. Hi2u NM farming.

and how many nin are well-geared? maybe 5% of the total population on FFXI. I was doing Colibri over the weekend and it was another 95% population of ninjas who think they can tank but can't. Utsusemi fell and the colibri did the 100000 peck and got him from full hp to red (do you not know how annoying that is for me as a healer?) I've used up so many Cure Vs (cuz hell i don't wanna get bitched at if they die cuz i cure III'd) and had to rest loads of times. I got lucky tho, i was at like 6mp and i was just bout to heal when DING 70WHM. full mp.
99% of the ninjas i'm with sucked as tanks. there was one ninja on Cerberus who knew how to do a good job but it involved OTHER NINJITSU SPELLS. (yes he actually used other spells /shock and it worked /bigger shock) all i see from the ninja tanks besides him is utsusemi then just WS and provoke when hate gets off of them.
the Ninja DDs i party with rule tho (the ones i don't have to cure cuz they don't provoke and do DD onry)
