Yeah i pulled a totally *** move yesterday in campaign, i was trying to solo this mob while there was plenty of others and 2 BST in a party found me with widescan.
I was like ok cool whatever, so the next campaign battle they *** blocked me again and i'm like... ok ***... you wait.
So East Ronfaure(S) starts up and it happens to be the shadowhorn gigas, i pulled that *** to the v.inlet zone up the ramp and into the tunnel which was way outside of widescan.
That battle lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes and nobody could find me until i had that gigas down to about 6% and i dropped a spirits within on him to finish it off on my 70 PLD lol.
I don't usually play dirty like that but i was tired of 15 minute campaign battles and roughly 1000 exp vs the 5000 i knew i could get.

Lol yeah I know the feeling. All 3 mobs I fought that battle people showed up and tried to steal the kill shot spamming ***as soon as they got there since all 3 times it was under 10%. Yeah and all 3 times I had tp and chain affinity. Bye bye mob. I could feel the dissapointment as they run up to do stuff and shortly after they actually get finished engaging dead mob.

Need more zeni /grumble.
Meh zeni hunting is easy. Find the highest lvl of the mob he is looking for. Take a full inventories worth at like <3% hp. Turn in 10 for like 60-99 each. Wait till next game day turn in 10 again. Lots of afking or time for pankration to get points for your cameras.

Anyone know how to make spellcast recognize certain hps or mps and such to equip different sets?
I don't, but I haven't had coffee yet, so my mind is still asleep.

Got 99.9 cooking... Then 5-6 synths without a skillup. Ran out of a couple mats so decided to finish up today. Hopefully it doesn't take many more jellies.

@ dasva About spellcast. Yeah, spellcast can recognize HP and MP and you can use it when it equips certain things. Also for instant JA's and WS's spellcast can get your gear on for it, the only problem being that you have to set it to equip precast for the gear to get on. When you do this there is a slight delay. This is a problem when doing something challenging like i often try on black mage because when you set things to precast spellcast will not allow the JA or WS to go off before equipping the gear. Depending on comp this can take up to a second to do, which could be that second you need to get out of melle range of what your kiting. However in exp or merit situation you would be fine

Also your blm takes 60 slots fully equiped... your just farming zeni. Dumb it down a little. All you really need to do is nuke it decently and be able to sleep it. Shouldn't really need a resting set either. Etc, etc. Also satchel!

It's funny how much of a difference 1 second can make in FFXI.
Well JA's work the same as magic and in my initial spellcast my sorcerors ring convert set was being equipped in precast prior to every nuke so i would never miss a cast. The problem was that precast was heavily delaying me and honestly doing it that way, if i didnt have gaiters i wouldnt have been able to kite and cast, but now when i do my ixdrk solo i almost never get hit beacuse ive taken that precast out and made it a macro that i try not to forget.
I wonder why only one person has asked to be in my LS. I honestly think the raptor topic has the best pitch. EVER.
