Depends on the security system of your router, I'm guessing this is wireless? Could be an issue of MAC address control (I'm using it to stop neighbors from accessing free internet lol).

Yeah basically what I was gunna get at. Reminds once my neighbors actually named theres stop stealing our internet since they didn't know how to make it secure. We didn't even realize we were we just hooked ours up connected with one that had good strength and went with it. Turns out for some reason the wiring leading up to our apparentment were messed up so it wouldn't work and they wanted us to pay for them to fix it so we could then get the internet we were already paying for...
Also not having to have a password shouldn't cause problems it's having one required with a non-comp. Try hooking it up directly and seeing if that is the issue

The password would be in this case the WEP/WPA that was setup via the router. No disks needed.
That, also make sure to enter the name of your network correctly. Might be an issue of mistype.
Or do as Dasva mentioned if all fails to prevent {Mind Blast}.
Lol I hope not taht much. Respawn time for me has been anywhere from 1.5-5.5 hours. 3 more spawns would be ouchie. So much for wiki saying 6.8% droprate.
Also my suggestion wasn't so much as a fix as a way of testing where the fault lies why taking some stuff out of the equation. Common method of troubleshooting electrical stuffs. Cut things in half till you got good in and bad out and you find the problem

For my Ps3 I had the same problem. What I did was use the little code under the router [Routercodething] and it worked. Either that or you can manually change your routers password with your PC/Laptop if it's connected directly to it.
