Dog are louder. and more destructive.
You guys must have some mean *** cats. Last dog I had destroyed HUNDREDS of dollars worth of furniture while the cats just occasionally get pissed off (haha pun) and urinate on the carpet or bed time to time, but nothing deep cleaning chems can't fix. I rather pay $40 for a deep cleaning machine than $600 for a new sofa.
I feel bad for having to give my dog away. But there's nothing worse than waking up and immediately dreading what was destroyed next from that damn dog.

Yeah, I never get my cats declawed either, because it just sounds so *** cruel. I know a lot of rental places require that, but I have scratching posts for my current cat so it's not a big deal, plus she's getting older so she just lays around and eats pretty much. When she was younger though, she used to destroy my ***LOL

OMG people think boxers are horrible? Those are one of the most loyal dog breeds. I have one, but since it's my wife's he only listens to her. I gotta drag him to go outside when he is misbehaving. Really that breed is good with everyone as long as they have done something to help train them as pups. As much as I dislike his attitude with me, I still love his little goofy ***.
I know what you mean about finding a place that'll take pets since it can be rough to get the place squared away before the next attendants and neighbors not liking pets.
I've talked with my wife about what we would do in case we can't find a place because of the pets. It's a sore subject, but we know that it could happen down the road.
