This isn't a joke, there's no punchline. I want to know why they're apparently different when they're more or less the same thing (dressing up as a fictional character or creature). Only difference is halloween gets you sweets.

1 its a childs holiday.
2 its an excuse for adults to party, dress slutty, get drunk, and be hungover on nov the 1st
