It is not the taco that is the issue tho, could be just about anything, it is the fact that the person you dont know, is either someone from your past that you do not remember, or someone playing on that, just to try to mooch some money off from you, and you dont want to sound like you forgot the person so you play along.

my wife's cousin just got out of prison. He's been in so long I don't remember how long it's been...ten years maybe? and stopped by and asked "what's been going on?" and I'm thinking to myself "where did we leave off?"
