Figured this would be a good place to ask.. Does TH at all effect drops in the High-Tier Mission Battlefields or is it like a chest drop so no effect? CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Naaa. Back before XI, back on my PSO days (phantasy star online), there was this guy in our group (Niko would like him) who we used to call Uncle Satter, cause he was older than us.
One day he got sick and drank some, that he actually got drunk from it. Years later, more recent days, playing games while sick, no time to properly use the measuring cup, so id take a big gulp from the bottle. Aint no time to be sick when (insert game name). IIRC has effect on the number of drops, does not have an effect on quality of drops. So for KB, for instance, you'll get more behemoth hides, but it will not have an effect on your chances of getting a Defending Ring because that slot always drops a Pixie Earring or a Defending Ring unless everyone in the party has the item. If you all have a Pixie Earring and that will not force the D. Ring, it will just cause a blank spot if D. Ring roll didn't proc. A radioactive actinide metal, thorium is one of only two significantly radioactive elements that still occur naturally in large quantities as a primordial element. Wikipedia So im pretty sure any creaturw would drop if enough th exposure. While I appreciate your attempt, Remy. His question was about whether it affected drops from a battlefield chest, not on how it affected monster drop rate.
:x Hard to say as many things have changed at this point, hell TH affects VW ***which comes from a chest. Lakshmi.Guyledouche

It absolutely tastes like Petrified *** My god does it taste like *** Shiva.Spathaian said: » While I appreciate your attempt, Remy. It works the same way with chests. I forget who tested it but someone did long ago. Might be in the thief forum sticky (do they have one of those still? Golly I haven't been there forever). But basically if a # of drops can be swayed by TH -- Mob or chest -- they will be. Quality of those drops will not be, so your chances of the good item or the 12k NPC'able garbage is equal regardless of your TH #. For instance, opening the Limbus Omega chest. You will always get 2 of a mix of head/hand/leg/feet. That can't be swayed by TH. Whether you get the third drop (body) CAN be swayed by TH.
